I’ve been working with OMG Music for some of our accessories and everything has not always been great especially when it comes down to paying for merchandise.
Brett Marcus who I guess is part owner
Feels the need to take it upon himself to decide which of YOUR credit cards he wants to use to pay for YOUR invoice you have with his his company WITHOUT consulting or getting approval from you and in this case Me!!!
He has done this on nearly every invoice except for one where actually told him what to put on each card to satisfy the bill. This was about three months ago
He knows I am a sole proprietor and he knows I’ve had two heart attacks recently yet his anxiety and his freedom to think that he can do whatever he wants when you have a balance with his company is outrageous.
He did this time again today after I had to have a heated conversation with him last time that came down to me telling him I wasn’t going to do business with him anymore if he continued to do this type of criminal behavior.
He promised me he would not do it again.
But guess what ? He did it again and I had to close my card that he used at Xmas time, a very important time for any retailer to not have access to their credit and file a complaint with the credit card company which was Citibank a big bank.
They sided with me and agreed to follow through with the complaint because what he did violated their terms of service rules saying…” he does not have a “blanket authorization” to freely use your card to satisfy a bill whenever he feels like it, the authorization needs to come from you” The rep told me to file a fraudulent claim on the charge even though I owed a bill, the fact that the company chose which card to use is the issue here.
They are issuing me a provisional credit for the amount and filing a complaint against them.
I will now never use them again even though they make a great product
It’s the arrogance of Brett Marcus to choose what ever he wishes to do even though you’ve had numerous conversations with him and even he has agreed it was wrong and not to do it again
Well guess what he doesn’t even listen to himself. I leave no choice but to warn people about his actions
