The atmosphere in the store is lovely (especially now with the booking system in place, which allows one to plan their visit) and the prices are even lower than some of the big chains. Like with all sites I’ve never heard of, I always check trust pilot. The reviews were decent so I took the plunge and ordered a Kanken backpack as it was on sale compared to other sites. It arrived so quickly and is definitely authentic. Very pleased and would purchase from here again.

Another excellent experience
Another excellent experience. After phoning Open Air for advice I was guided towards the correct walking poles for me which were ordered in especially and mailed promptly so they arrived in time for my walking holiday.
This is my second purchase from Open Air and on both occasions I have received really excellent service from people who totally know their stuff. Couldn’t be happier and very willing to recommend.

Simply The Best
You can buy boots online or from one of the large outdoor stores, but what you do not get is SERVICE.
This is available in abundance at Open Air. Angus was knowledgeable, careful and attentive in assessing the right boots for me. The result was a pair of new boots with which I am more than happy.
