High praise for Darren
The website, information, everything was straight forward and easy to understand.
My review, however, is purely as a high praise to the Senior Education Specialist: Darren Kendall. Whilst he did his job well and sold the package to me, I can safely say that it was one of the most positive and uplifting interactions I’ve ever had with someone over the phone. His happiness was infectious and Open Study College should be aware that it was purely the interaction with him that actually sealed the deal (since I was looking at several other course suppliers).

Sean Grady is amazing!
I dealt with a gentleman called Sean Grady and I just want to say how he made the whole process incredibly stress-free! I was looking at getting my daughter her GCSE English language and literature and he was super supportive and made sure any questions I had were answered very fast.

My experience with Open Study College was fantastic from start to finish. The course material was helpful, but my course tutor (Julie Corbin) was the real standout from this experience. She was super encouraging throughout, prompt to give feedback and always kind and approachable - a true credit to the college! Unsupportive of people with learning…
Unsupportive of people with learning difficulties. I needed to hand in work to be assessed for exam arrangements and had some difficulty handing the work because of their system. No assistance and minimal communication led me to having no extra time in my exams which i am desperately in need of. May have to study for another year because of this issue (more fees).Happy to take your money in a very "hands off" approach.
ACAS, Trading standards and other relevant bodies are being contacted with relevant information. Hopefully this complaint will deter anyone from experiencing similar issues.

Really recommend
Really recommend. Ive never had a positive experience with the education system due to personal issues. However, this college giving me the opportunity to study the A levels that I always wanted to do, and doing so within my comfort zone has really helped me. There have been some grammar issues with the courses but nothing that concerns me with reliability of information. Overall, i’m very happy with going through with doing the online courses with this college and i’m grateful that I was able to access it. Thank you (:

Terrible resources and inadequate info. Would equal failure
I still need to take these to court.
The A Level physics course is not fit for purpose. Significant information is incorrect (a proton is NOT a fundamental particle) and much is missing from the AQA specification.
A physics specialist has looked through two modules and stated ‘you would be lucky to pass’ (I am now a trainee Science teacher and I can confirm it is inadequate).
I haven’t had time for the court process currently, luckily for the company. I had followed the complaints procedure as the persons who wrote the resources has apparently said they’re fine. Of course they would! Biased feedback!
Unfortunately home courses are not regulated.
In short.
Do not recommend.
