My time at Tyne training was impactful, I learnt first hand the theoritical and practical knowledge and skills to become a professional security operative.

Sean was very helpful and flexible in terms of calling back. He was very prompt in replying back through emails.

The enrolment process was smooth and easy with the help of Sean, who answered my questions fully and honestly.

Everyone that I spoke to on the Open Study College team was so polite, helpful and informative, especially Paul, who I dealt with initially and then Sean, who was absolutely brilliant in helping me through the process of signing my daughter up for the A level course.

I had been umming and ahing for a while as to whether to enrol on a course as I wasn't sure if I would meet the eligibility requirements or if the school I volunteer at could support the demands involved.

The person I spoke to at the Open Study College was incredibly helpful and took the time to give me as much information as possible and even went the extra mile to consult with their manager when they didn't have all the answers to hand.

Owing to their patience and thoroughness, I felt I was able to make a well-informed decision and enrol. I also felt reassured when I was told I could reach out should I ever have any queries or concerns; someone would do their best to support me.

I am really excited to begin this new journey and really appreciate the encouragement and guidance I have received so far!

I spoke with Sean today and he helped me so much with my enrolment. He stayed on the phone with us for a while and walked us through the whole process and gave us advice and help when we needed it. The whole experience was made less stressful because of him. Thank you Sean!!

I enrolled on the 9th of June and so far have passed one assignment but I'm finding it frustrating due to the lack of communication from my tutor (taking days or up to a week to respond) and my questions being hardly answered. I, myself, benefit from knowledgeable guidance and sadly that's what I feel I'm not receiving. I feel abandoned. Sometimes I have to call the college to see what's going on.

I understand tutors will have more than one student but the college has stated to me more than once that they respond within 24hrs which sadly isn't true. I think you should change this. This may help the tutors also?

I also remember over 10 years ago when I enrolled with OSC on Animal Care Level 2 and the college was excellent and I never had to contact the college staff for help with my studying. But now they seem to have gone down hill. What's happened? I expected more for saying I'm paying £30 a month.

Just to add, my tutor seems very nice but not very responsive. People benefit from guidance by tutors, especially when they're paying money for it. That's what people need. It encourages students and gives confidence to want to continue studying.

Sadly, in the future, I won't enroll again for this reason. It's very frustrating.

Range of courses is extensive. Sales team not too pushy and respected my call back request at the given time.
Sean was helpful and patient and assisted me to understand the nature of the course and offer me the package to suit my needs.

I hope the registration and course itself proves to be just as seamless

Roxanne was extremely helpful via live chat. Not only was she happy to answer all my questions about multiple courses, every time I hit a bump on the road, she offered another option/solution and in the end got me enrolled into my choice courses the same day.

I had an enrollment issue with the spelling of my name. It was fixed almost immediately.

Presumably Open study college sales call handlers ask prospective students to review their call experience. They should stop this practice, it makes this review site useless. I came here looking for reviews of the study experience with Open College, unfortunately so many of the reviews review the sales team. Makes Open Study's high score meaningless.

Still no response!! do not use, absolute worst educational company to exist!! asked me to email to resolve problems and have ignored 2 emails now.

I had an amazing tutor, Julie Corbin, who was a great support throughout my course! Open Study College is easy to access and has everything online for you with links throughout the course for further research. It is easy to upload your assignments on Ohana, would 100% recommend this college.
