Amazing service, friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend.

I really would have wished a bit better support regarding problems with my recent order.

I ordered some fork oil for my sons NC35 on Friday 30th May. The seals that I ordered on the same day came the next day but the fork oil did not arrive until Monday 9th June therefore putting the bike off the road for an unacceptable time.
I have dealt with Opie in the past and found the service ok but this is not ok.

I had a problem with my order, Customer service was brilliant and competently rescued the situation!!
You sometimes only realise how good a company is when you have an issue.

I’ve used Opie Oils three times for engine oil for our cars. They are competitive, efficient, and offer an extensive range of vehicle service related products.
My most recent order had a couple of discrepancies on delivery, with a couple of items missing, and a couple of unordered items.
On emailing the company, I received a reply within the hour (on a Friday afternoon), apologising, and asking for full details.
I received a further email within an hour, offering their apologies, and that the missing items had been dispatched and would arrive soonest.
I was expecting delivery maybe the middle of the next week, but it arrived the very next morning, Saturday, along with some free air fresheners.
I couldn’t rate this company any higher….
The measure of a good company in my view is not consistent perfection, but how they respond when there is a problem. Opie Oils passed the test with flying colours, and I will continue using them and recommending them wherever possible.
A special shout out to Harry, who dealt with my issue from start to finish.

It's funny BUT you only find out how good a company really is when they get something wrong. I've used Opie for at least 10 years, keen pricing etc, without issue. This time they sent the wrong oil out. So I phoned them, late Thursday, and spoke to a real person as opposed to endless options or AI. There was no quibbling or quoting small print that no-one ever reads. The correct stuff was sent Friday delivered Saturday and the wrong stuff collected. Proper customer service.

Used to be my go to place for all things service related, but it seems like there stock levels and choice has been reduced and last delivery took over a week. Something has clearly changed and not for the better.

Very well priced - better than the normal high-street retailers - helpful if you are not sure about any products - couriers promptly

dont waste your time paying extra for next day delivery as that means next week delivery to them so if you need it quick buy elsewhere as you will get more sense out of a fish

Shocking delivery times. Ordered on the 5th May not delivered until the 13th May. No indication of delivery schedule when ordering, wrongly assumed it would be a few days. Very disappointed

I ordered some alloy wheel cleaner from Opie Oils via Amazon. Fedex did its best to spoil the experience by trying to deliver to the wrong address then being impossible to contact to get things back on track, but Jack in Opie Oils' customer service dept was great and just sorted it out for me.

We're all so used to having to deal with chat bots, that being able to call Opie and be put through to someone made a very refreshing change. I've given Opie Oils the full five stars because they were great to deal with - it's just a shame that Fedex is such a shambles.

Only after placing my order was I notified that it wouldn't ship for four days because they are too busy. Thanks for wasting my time.

Good prices but they often take ages to despatch your order with few updates.

Order took too long to process. I wouldn’t use this company again, there’s other people out there giving a better more efficient service.

Ordered over a week ago plugs, filters and oils for 3 different vehicles.
Tracking email arrived 2nd May stating delivery day would be today 8th.
I checked with FedEx this morning and gave them the tracking number id been supplied with. There was no package in transit and it hadn’t even left Opie!!

I emailed with my complaint and asked for an explanation and a refund.

I was so annoyed I called them but got the brush off from “Sam” over a week in dispatch and they’ve been busy etc.
Claimed he still had a window of a day to deliver! 🤣 from Cornwall to Aberdeen!🤔 aye right.
I asked for a refund again.
2 customers cars inbound and jobs cancelled.
I’ll use Dingbro my usual supplier where I should have gone in the first place.

My delivery was delayed due to back logs but when contacted by phone, order was immediately processed, sent priority and arrived next day. Can't fault that customer service. Removal of one star due to lack of communication about original order but wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Ordered and took over 10 days to receive my order! If there are delays then the customer should be updated, I have never been contacted. If you need products in 2-3 days (normal ecommerce delivery timings) look elsewhere.

Crap service, 7 working days to dispatch order. Really? Will never use again.

Not sure how incompetent and unprofessional a company can get, Their website takes orders and your money for items out of stock, they wait days to email you to advise not in stock then when u get a resolution agree a delivery date, the day before delivery fedex message you to advise of 10 day delay in delivery however hours later they change there mind and make delivery on said date, gets worse only part of your order arrives I am 2 litres oil short of what I ordered and paid for awaiting a response from them, they dont realise it had knock on effect if you run a company reputation and financially, they pull you in with offers on website, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY STAY AWAY.
