Broken fibre line and Orange contractors

Our fibre line outside the chalet goes from pole to pole and has been broken. We have phoned Orange many times and found them friendly but ineffective. The communication between Orange and their contractor Constructel is appalling and inefficient. 6 times we have had an appointment and no one has turned up or called.

DO NOT GO TO ORANGE X SUR

Went into the shop in X Sur to order internet. Woman said she would phone fitter and should be a couple of days to be fitted. Waited 6 days then txted her. She said she didn’t have time to call and I would have to call. She knew I didn’t speak much Spanish. I tried but couldn’t make myself understood. She was very rude. Eventually after going back into the shop I got an instalment date 15 days after signing up for it. I waited in all day no phone call as promised and no fitter.
I tried to cancel with Orange but she was rude again and said I should learn Spanish. I was given a number to call which again was all in Spanish. I have no idea if they will take the direct debit out of my bank account.
I went into Movistar yesterday got a cheaper deal on a more powerful internet and it was installed today no problem within 24 hours.
I would avoid Orange and that awful employee like the plague.

worst experience ever! the woman was rude, impatient, raised her voice at me when i asked 1 question and then hung up in my face!!! what a disaster!!

most useless customer support ever

most useless customer support ever. Bullying you if you do not speak fluent french, eventhough you are trying, refusing to even try. if you have a pro account they cant support you in english. My number is not working (so if it wasnt because I had a private number with an other company I would not even be able to contact them) and my data on my phone is not working and I am paying over 120 euro a month, but this is an ongoing issue. And all they tell you is switch your phone on an off or learn to speak french! They have no customer support email so I can contact them and use a little translation to help me. Then they want me to go to the store ALL the time, thats not much help for ONLINE SUPPORT!! and it takes around 1 hour to get through to the service that then mocks you! STAY AWAY

Absolutely the worst company I have…

Absolutely the worst company I have dealt with in France. After 15 years of being a premier account we had an internet problem. The engineer came and could not resolve the problem. They have failed to keep nine appointments. We have been left since November without Orange internet in a house which cannot receive mobile reception. I have to use WIFI to use the mobiles. Yet they have continued to take money from my account.
Ring them up and the staff are rude and argumentative. They do that so they can hang up because they have no valid answers or solutions. I now have a different supplier of the internet. Avoid Orange.

They have a very nasty and nonsense way…

They have a very nasty and nonsense way to inform the customer they supposedly appreciate that they owe a past due balance by making the page that tells you this as threatening to a service shut off as possible. It's a very nasty page towards a customer that anything could have happened to on order to divert the payment from happening some way.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. My fiber has been down for four months, and despite numerous calls, nothing has been resolved. I’ve contacted them over 10 times, but all I get are unclear and unhelpful responses. Avoid Orange at all costs.

Very very disappointing.

Terrible greedy and unhelpful company.
I once had 5 mobile and three fibre contracts with them. Have moved on. Starlink 100% better for internet at the same price ( slower but fast enough and it just works) Moving last two phone now to Lebara who get 4.8 out of five against Orange at 1.2 on this platform. Says it all. AVOID.

Orange telecom - dishonest, lying thieves

I live in France on a long stay visa. Orange telecom has lied and taken my money. Here are the lies as told to me at the Orange boutique at 256 Rue de Vaugirard, 75015 in Paris:
- You cannot purchase a 'normal' mobile subscription, even though I showed them my passport, my long stay visa, and documentation that I actually live in an apartment in Paris.
(NOTE: If this were true, how was I able later to subscribe to Orange online?)
- So, after purchasing a tourist (monthly $$$) plan, I had no cell signal in my apartment, nor was I able to connect my phone to the WiFi in my apartment. Upon returning to the Orange boutique to complain, I received the following replies:
- Yes, some locations don't have a strong cell signal. Too bad for you.
- The tourist plan doesn't allow WiFi connection.
- No, you cannot have your money (50 euros) back.

This is my experience with Orange telecom in France. I am now with Free telecom, which has been a much more pleasant experience.

FRUSTRATED

SO FAR REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SIMPLY WANT TO CONVERT TO AN ESIM. NO ANSWER ON THE PHONE..THE ONLINE SITE WILL NOT LET ME COMPLETE...AND THE "STORE" I WENT TO TODAY SAID THEY "DON'T DO HELP" AND GAVE ME THE PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. I WAS ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR AND THEN !!! ORANGE HUNG UP ON ME.

They don't support their customers

They don't support their customers. My fiber line has been vandalized since the end of June to connect someone else, it is now mid-October and the only thing orange technical support can do for 10 weeks is to make reminders in the ticket.
And nothing happens, every week the same conversation: "we made the reminder we have to wait 7 working days" "we can't do anything else"
There is just follow up, and pointless phone calls without any action behind it, which results in growing frustration on the customer side because trust is broken and there is no resolution in sight.
It is inexcusable

Bought travel e sims for my phone and…

Bought travel e sims for my phone and ipad. Worked ok but website led me to believe data duration could be extended beyond 28 days if e sim is registered. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. I bought 100GB of data but it expired after 28 days in spite of me registering both e sims. This is not clear when you purchase snd customer service was utterly useless.

i've NEVER seen an thing so bad…

i've NEVER seen an thing so bad before, my wifi box iss literly ON my pc and sometimes it's runs at 100mbps and sometimes at 0, 23 mbps, in my buying contract it says that the wifi need's to be at 2-3 gbps ( 2000mbps - 3000mbps)... PLEASE don't buy their abonoments/products and don't pay thes stupid company

Unhelpful Lazy Customer Service

This may be the reason why I move out of this country. I made an appointment at the Antibes Orange today to pick up a phone for my husband who is in the states with a dying parent. The agent checked and informed me that the phone had been sent back to Chronopost. That I simply needed to call client services to have them send it back. I tried twice with two different representatives who 1) made me wait 20 minutes and then hung up on me 2) the second said the chronopost number didn't exist (lie lazy), and that they would never give me the phone anyway. Then she hung up on me. Happend at 14:29 today. She needs to be fired.
