Performance Trumps Marketing
Orbea has failed to make a full commitment to the US market with virtually no North America after sales support outside of widely dispersed dealers. It makes warranty service a nearly untenable proposition when I have to travel 5 hours to the nearest midwest dealer or ship a bike, (buyers expense), at exorbitant cost. Orbea has no US distribution center and dealers rarely stock parts and accessories requiring direct OEM orders to Orbera Spain resulting in long lead times that can extend months for OUT OF STOCK items. Like the bikes or not, brand loyalty has limits.

While it's true that our dealer network can be spread out in certain areas, we often work with intermediary dealers to help facilitate service and support closer to your location. We're also aware of the concerns regarding spare parts availability. Although replacement parts are shipped from our logistics center in Spain, they typically arrive within 4 business days—barring unexpected customs delays.
That said, we genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can continue improving. We’re committed to providing better experiences and support for our U.S. customers moving forward.

Renewed interest in exercising and getting to spend time with my 17 year old kid
At 57 years old and some years of not excercising, I realized I was missing out on time with my kids (17 and 23). I picked up a pedal Mtb but can’t keep up and recently did a longer ride that had my heart rate up to 171 bpm and near that for four hours.
I’ve only done two rides in the Orbea Rise H30 but it allows me to keep up with my kids while keeping my heart rate at a safe level. I can lower the assist and get muscles burning and then raise the assist and recover while riding.
The bike is playful and so much fun on the trails. My Rise has renewed my interest in taking care of myself and is allowing me to spend time making memories with my kids. 60nm is absolutely plenty for steep climbs enough to feel like I am cheating even though I am 224 pounds and only recently getting into exercising again. I thought I would need to use Boost mode a lot but have not even been close to needing it.
Jenson was a pleasure to do business with and I will certainly do business with them again.

Bike is great ! Exceeding my expectations! The Orbea website for registering warranty info was very difficult ,,I ended up going back to the dealer and even they had problems getting thru the first page of owner info ,,I could never get to the page to input the frame # and purchase date info .🤷♂️

Almost great Onna!
The left Microshift shifter was hard to operate so I replaced it with Shimano, maybe the cable wasn't installed properly. The right side works just fine. The rest of the bike is ok, maybe the 2,4 Kenda Boosters are a bit too wide for a commuter mtb. The Orbea kickstand was a bit pricey, hard to find and fiddly to install, but it seems to hold the bike upright.

Really digging this bike
Really digging this bike! Coming from a real meaty bike (Ibis Ripmo AF) I am amazed at the momentum this way lighter bike has on most every terrain, except perhaps the rockiest dh. The lockout is superb for digging in to gravel and road, and the 120mm in front and back is ample but not too much for most everything. Love the bike!
