My experience with OREME Clinic

My experience with OREME Clinic — pressure tactics, unsolicited invoice, and contacting third parties

I approached OREME in 2025 regarding stem-cell injections for a knee with ligament and meniscus tears. Here is my experience:

Jurisdiction & licensing confusion. From the first interaction, I was told they are a Swiss clinic (billing in CHF, invoicing from Switzerland) but that stem-cell injections are performed only in Lithuania. This raised legitimate questions for me about licensing, malpractice coverage, and why the procedure wouldn’t be done under Swiss oversight if the clinic presents itself as Swiss.

Superficial consultation. We had a ~15-minute call that remained very general and did not provide case-specific solutions or a medically reasoned treatment plan.

Generic offer pack. I received a standard PDF with proposed steps and pricing, but no outcome probabilities, no success metrics, and no links to relevant peer-reviewed studies for my condition.

High-pressure sales. When I started asking detailed questions, the tone shifted to urgency: “pay 50% by Monday,” “pay now, limited slots,” etc. I stepped back at that point.

Unagreed “consultation” fee. When I declined to proceed, I was issued an unexpected €250 invoice for a “consultation” that was neither discussed nor agreed beforehand, and I was threatened with reputational harm if I didn’t pay immediately.

Reaching out to third parties. Subsequently, a message was sent to a business associate of mine asking them to cover an “outstanding consultation invoice.” I consider this inappropriate and unprofessional. I have screenshot evidence of that message.

Bottom line: Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic. Prospective patients should insist on (a) clarity about where procedures are performed and under which licenses/insurers, (b) written, pre-agreed fees before any call, (c) evidence-based materials relevant to their diagnosis, and (d) a cool-off period without pressure tactics. I’m happy to share documentation with any platform that requires proof.
