Online and app info about my bill is wrong by $100
Been with Origin Energy for years for gas and electricity. Their app and online account information is so misleading, dishonest and duplicitous. Thieves and crooks without any conscience.
My online account (and app) says that my current account owing for electricity is $59.71. The bill I just received (and can view online as a PDF) is actually $159.71.
Don't know why the $100 isn't showing, but the online and app information makes it look like my bill's really cheap (given our solar panels and battery), when in fact it isn't at all. Disappointing and really angry at Origin. Might be time to find a new provider.

Dion was great. Knew his stuff. Awesome communication. Well done.
I’ve waited on several occasions on the phone on hold for more than an hour to get through to organise a payment plan and it hasn’t been done because I’ve had to wait so long and I’ve just hung up. So you need to fix the ‘wait time’ issue. However an email and getting a call at a certain time is clearly the way to go FYI!! And Dion was happy to change times at my request. So the system is good.
Love the power on program. It has saved me. Yes! So very grateful for that system.

I will never use origin again in my life and tell everyone I know that origin is a greedy company that ignores customers opinions and hides behind technicality to make money. They charged me $250 for gas to a vacant apartment over 3 months.

Kindness Matters
I honestly can't thank Red enough for their kindness, patience and understanding.
I had been avoiding dealing with my electricity account for months because my anxiety around phone calls and my financial situation had become overwhelming. I felt embarrassed and ashamed, and every day that passed made it feel even harder to reach out.
From Red's very first email, I felt heard rather than judged. They took the time to read what I had written, respected my request to communicate by email, and responded with genuine compassion and encouragement. They never made me feel like "just another overdue account" - they treated me like a person who was struggling.
Because of Red's support, I've finally been able to start dealing with a situation that had felt impossible. Instead of feeling criticised, I felt supported. That has made all the difference.
Red, thank you for your empathy, professionalism and kindness. I know this is probably just one of many cases you work on, but your approach has had a real impact on me. I hope Origin recognises the difference you've made, because people like you are incredibly valuable.
Five stars isn't enough.

How do I register with Origin Energy…
How do I register with Origin Energy that I have installed solar panels. Also how do I receive credits for the power I am putting back into the grid.
