If I could rate this a 0 I would

If I could rate this a 0 I would. It doesn’t deserve 1 star. The place is a joke, timescales are horrendous. 3 months on still waiting for a radiator to be fitted. 2 month wait for a kitchen draw to be fixed. When you stand up for yourself you’re made out to be the bad one, not the ones incapable of doing and booking simple jobs. Manager has an attitude problem and isn’t professional in the slightest. They all cover for each other and hands down the worst council known to man kind. 3 months later and I should have a kitchen draw fixed finally wooohoooooo! Not! Ud think I was asking for gold! Everyone pays rent and council tax they is no explanation at all as to why the timeframes to fix a simple job is so long. I understand no one wants to work for them and they have limited contractors however when it affects the tenants something needs to be done. Disabled child left to access the cutlery because of completely broken draw and I was told put them else where -I have a tiny kitchen 2 draws and 6 cupboards l, family of 4. I have kept them out of reach as much as I can he climbs and finds them. Also why should anyone have to go upstairs for a piece of cutlery because the council can’t get a job done in a decent time frame. When I showed my frustration I was laughed at. Unprofessional manager thinking she’s sat on a throne, a lot of people have said how she thinks her … don’t stink. Quick to run her mouth but not sort the job. Same as everything in slough. A shambles and bloody embarrassing. Mental health, disability’s & timeframes are on my notes so this doesn’t happen but they are too lazy to read it to make sure a job is dealt with properly. Sending workers to my house knowing I’m not in for school run. Even after this situation of them messing up they done it again with a routine boiler check and sent the worker at school time again. My children go to school 3.5 miles from home anyone that lives in slough knows it’s impossible to do a school run for 2 children with slough traffic at that time let alone get it done in half an hour. It’s impossible. Again thinking they know it all. Boiler hasn’t been checked either because of there incompetence again, so if anything happens it will be on Osborne. Disgusting company that desperately needs to be taken over by professionals that want to work and make their tenants happy. Also when u complain about the manager they get the manager to deal with the complaint LOL literally like banging your head against a wall

Inadequate and dangerous

My disabled child has been left 3 weeks without access to cleaning facilities and the work still isnt finished. Once started the repairmen kept leaving to go to the shop as he didnt have the right equipement, one time leaving an open knife on the floor. Then futher delays due to not knowing how to fit disability adaption and having to waiting for instructions.

Absolute Joke

What a joke! 2 Vans arrived to replace a Door Canopy 3 people got out (2 with reflective jackets and 1 “apprentice”) blocked a neighbours driveway even though told not them to move van they look at door scratched heads and looked at each other. About a hour later another employee turns up to cut a bit of wood then goes 10mins later. They then spent rest of morning chatting and walking back and forth. Did some more work then sat in vans to have lunch then finished lunch packed up leaving half finished job then drove off! Job should’ve taken 2hrs max so why taken 5hrs and still not finished!

Joke of a company

Joke of a company
Called claiming I haven’t had an electric check on my property for 4 years, I’ve lived here 3 years and I’ve had two checks! Anyway I let them book me in for an appointment, they didn’t show up so I called to chase this and after speaking to 3 different people they apparently don’t have an appointment logged for me …….. staff have poor communication and are extremely rude!

SERIOUSLY POOR COMPANY

REITTERATING all the reviews, a very very very poor company. when it was Interserve we where dealt with respectfully. a lady on the call number said works cut back from the £780 million debt they're in, i'm like you have been paid the £120million contract upfront. so why are you so poor, they have even changed the call centre as ive now been waiting 33 minutes. i have a 3 year old SBC disabled bungalow built on stilts for water flood area. but the build installed grills if fitted would work, but they tacked it into wall and our neighbours rotten cats have ripped the gills down, now our puppy escapes. but if the job was done properly in the firstplace it would not need repairing and a review. in general osborne is the worst company i have had to deal with. Absolutely disguisting on customer services and now seems like the peoplke you talk to mdont have any idea where slough is and dont understand the operatives are not allowed to work because a manager says so or you have to wait weeks upto including 7 weeksof no shower because they need a sparky and and plumber to refit another broken shower.
pxxs poor alround. one mak left tomlay the review but that mark is too many

Well I've read all the negative reviews…

Well I've read all the negative reviews but must say that my experience with Osborne was excellent. My front door kept sticking and sometimes I had difficulty getting in. I rang the Council repairs and they came two days later. The guys who came saw what the problem was straight away and fixed it within 5 minutes. They were very professional, very quick and above all very pleasant and I can't thank them enough..

I won’t even give them 1 star rating

I won’t even give them 1 star rating
8 people over 5 days to fit a shower, the electrician accused me of fitting the shower myself, I told him it was fitted when the house had a refrub 11 years ago, he still didn’t believe me, and the plumber who was with him heard my dog bark , went out to his van and come back wearing ear defenders
Left with wonky shower, scratched bath where they let the tiles drop in the bath
Missed matched tiles, shower leaking and now has plumbers tape on( which the now is void of the warranty) drilled through my bathroom and straight through to my hallway they didn’t even have to drill anything as the holes was already there🤷‍♀️🙈
Now lost count of how many times I’ve called them, only to be told today that I have to email them with a complaint , ask to speak to a manager or supervisor or inspector and none of them are available
So will call the council’s insurance department and see what they say and I will also contact the papers
Some of the workmen who come out were so rude😡😡😡

Worst company ever

Worst company ever, I had a wet room installed in march through my local council, a job I was told would take two weeks at most, jobs still not completed nearly five months later! what has been done is very sloppy, left without a working bath or shower for three weeks.
Damages made by Osborne workmen so far include water damaged and ripped carpet, holes in walls, deep scratches in the hallway floor, two significant leaks and a flood causing severe water damage to walls, ceilings and floors throughout kitchen, dining room and sitting room, amongst other things.
This company does not give a rats about you and their visiting reps are a joke, you never speak to the same person twice, and everyone is ill or on holiday when you call or email them, You can't get a straight answer about anything, always fobbing you off and passing the buck, trying to get a verified appointment to repair the damages and finish my bathroom is soul crushing.

Still waiting for someone to call me…

Still waiting for someone to call me about the boiler but not surprised, everyone you call them they say we have passed on the details, it's always someone else's job wander why they even have a call centre if staff cannot help and I wander why the council went bankrupt as they waste millions on companies like this that cannot do the job they are paid for
Update: still waiting for a call but I am not surprised as it took them 2 months to fix a grab rail that they broke when doing another job - every year we have issues with the boiler and it will get fixed but will breakdown again a week after the yearly service as always but as long as you have your £140 million contract you dont care

Appalling service

The worst service ever takes more then 39 mins for a call to go thru with no apology. Customer service is appaling the lady on the other end will b busy talking more then hearing . Times are egiven and repairs never carried out for weeks. Then when u call again ur held in a cue for nearly half an hour yet its only a call for asking when is the job that was started wil b completed . Is sbc making any logs of feedback from its customers? Sbc is this the future for customers? Please look into this.

Embarrassing to say the least.

From their website "Our social housing property maintenance and refurbishment service is shaped around the needs of our customers to be fast, efficient and convenient".
Apparently they are 'supposed' to carry out repairs for Optivo Housing Association properties. Unfortunately, it seems the repairs are being marked as completed but no work has actually been carried out.
Of course I'm sure this is an accidental overlook even though it has now happened on numerous occasions.
Embarrassing to say the least.
