I bought an insert from a local dealer. It has smoked from a cold chimney from day one. I have tried everything. Top lighted, bottom lighted tried running a propane torch for 5 minutes to heat the flue. The baffles and the small flue make it impossible to light without filling the room full of acrid smoke. Once the room is full of smoke the flue is warm enough to draw. The dealer keeps telling me my wood is wet. That is complete BS. My wood is so dry it burns without tinder.

I purchased a stove in October of 2023. It was supposed to come with a fireplace tool set that costs $169. I have reached out to them several times since then, and they fail to ship the item to me. The last time I contacted them was in January, and they failed to ship the item again.
The company is difficult to reach for customer service.
The stove itself? It is ok, but nothing special.
