Gray zone retailer aka SCAM

I ordered two pairs of glasses a month ago. After two weeks with no news i sent an email asking what is going on. A week after i received a reply that they sent one pair and the other one is out of stock, which i dont mind, it happens. After one week more i asked for a tracking number for the pair they sent, after a few days i recived a reply that they are out of stock. I sent an email in which i requested imediate refund 4 days ago( i am giving them some time off for holidays) to which there is still no reply. So basically most of the website shop is out of stock but they will gladly take your money and stall as long as possible after that. Gray zone scamers. Avoid!!!

Bad experience

Very bad experience with this store.

I have been trying to return my glasses for almost two months, but it is simply impossible.

Customer support is completely ignoring me and refuses to provide any help. I do not have a receipt or invoice, and despite contacting them many times, they did not send me the required documents or instructions for a proper return.

I have already sent the return package twice at my own expense, and both times the package was sent back to me, because returns to San Marino require special customs documents. The store never informed me about this and never assisted me, even after repeated requests.

At this point, I am stuck with a product I cannot return and no support from the seller.
This is an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I do not recommend this store.

Awesome service!

Five stars for Ottica SM! Fast 5-day delivery, excellent communication and 100% authentic sunglasses. I’m so happy I chose to order from Ottica SM and I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Order No. 200040808 – Extremely Negative Experience


I placed an order in July 2024 and never received the glasses, nor was I ever refunded. I spent an entire year waiting for the model, always hearing the same excuses: “not available,” “delayed,” “production issues.” They even created a tracking number… but the glasses didn’t even exist. Meanwhile, the exact same model and color remained listed for sale on their website the whole time.

For a full year I never asked for a refund, I kept trusting them. When I finally requested it, they told me they would cancel the order and refund me — that refund never arrived. Since then, complete silence.

Next time I pass through San Marino on holiday, I will file a police report and I will go to the store in person. It may not change anything, but it’s the least I can do after such an absurd situation.

If you live abroad, do not order from this shop. If they start delaying, giving excuses, or blaming “Ray-Ban production issues,” contact your bank immediately (no later than 30 days) to dispute the payment. Otherwise, this dishonest company will simply keep your money.
Ridiculous.

Certified seller of original Sunglasses

Was bit sceptical when buying expensive sunnies but the price was so attractive that I gave it a shot. Even though delivery took longer than expected (bought on black friday) and took 2 weeks, I am very satisfied with the packaging, quality, and their fast replies on my mails about the package. I will certainly buy again for my next pair.

I bought Ray-Ban sunglasses for a very good price and am very happy with the sale. Easy to order and very reliable. We visited the store a couple of years ago in San Marino and the online order is easy. My Ray-Ban came within a week (around holidays) and is perfect.

I was a regular customer of this optical store.
Unfortunately, my experience wasn't always positive, but I'm a regular customer and didn't mind minor defects or inappropriate colors (for example, gray instead of black).
But this latest situation really upset me.
My order 100361756 has been lost for a month!
DPD lost the package, which I've been reporting for two weeks now (DPD sent me a message about it, and so did they).
But the store pretends not to understand what I'm talking about and simply stopped responding.
I see there are other similar problems. Write to me. A lawyer said a collective appeal would be even more effective (this wouldn't just be a scam, but a fraud).

This is the kind of negative experience I had with my own money before Christmas.

The courier service wrote two weeks ago that they lost the package, and I sent you this letter. Two weeks ago.

Their letter shows that the package is insured for 100 euros (that's not the full amount, and I think that's why they're ignoring me).

I'm very sorry that you decided to respond to my letters only after my review.
