After reading the reviews I wasn’t 100% sure this was a genuine company or one of those scam outfits that appear sometimes.

I ordered footwear from the U.K. because my Oder was from Germany took extra research to make sure the size was correct. I had brief comms with one of their staff via email then placed my order.

I ordered directly with Outdoorworks.de and my shoes arrived, following track able delivery by DHL, as promised and they fit well and I am very pleased with my dealings with them.

Ordered boots through amazon, after 3 weeks the order was cancelled without any explanation. Amazon is still showing the boots available through them, very disappointed as now left with no boots for over a month as current ones have split.

Ordered some shoes through Amazon. They promised 2 delivery dates on 2 different occasions and missed both. Still have not received the goods or a refund, despite asking them to cancel the order. They have not replied to any of my emails regarding cancelling the order or refunding the money.
Very poor service.

First class service-dispatched the next business day, arrived from Germany to Switzerland three days later. No customs fees or import duties either. I’m now the happy owner of a reasonably priced and excellent Mammut Eigerjoch Advanced IN down jacket. Customer service answered my queries almost immediately. If the jacket develops a fault, I’m sure that I will receive the same level of service. Contrary to what is said in the negative review below, I could not fault these people. I’m not sure I would expect The retailer to deal with a warranty issue on a jacket like this. Would far rather send it back to the manufacturer direct to ensure they repair under their warranty. I’ve not heard of any Mammut products developing an early fault and I am surprised to read of that experience. And paying by bank transfer was simple and extremely quick with Transfer Wise – they received the money within a few moments and it saved the credit card charges. Will definitely buy from these folk again, subject to them remaining good value of course!

Not cheaper than other places and some products are a lot more expensive but you are guaranteed to get an awful customer service, if you can call it service at all. Problem with my jacket developed within 2 weeks of purchase, they would not refund and insisted to send it back to Mammut. I got the jacket back with a poor repair result and another fault developed. I only got my refund because Mammut accepted to refund. The jacket would have been refunded the first time by any other establishment. They did not refund the postage charge and when I questioned it I got a rude email saying that I had got a good deal!!?
There are much better companies out there, avoid this establishment.

Problems with refund. Awful customer service (very confrontational, not customer oriented)

Just purchased 2 pairs of shorts - very happy, speedy informative service and delivery. I was glad to have the option to pay by bank transfer (avoided credit card fee so made my transaction cheaper) - the Mammut shorts were a good price too.
