This mask is hilarious and helpful all at the same time. My dog manages to pull her head out of it sometimes but that’s because I don’t have a proper collar for her to attach it to, so I don’t think it’s a design flaw as it has three ways to secure it on. I don’t leave it on for long as I’m sure it gets hot in there when we’re working on the ranch all day. She is able to drink and even play with her ball which is an absolute crack up to watch. Not only does it keep out foxtails but she can’t eat the huge wads of horse poop that she usually tries to get away with either which saves me a pukey mess at home later on.

My dog actually likes the bag. Not sure why but he seems to like it. No issues putting it on him. He can drink in the ditch thru it no problem and it definitely catches fox tails.

My experience was very positive. They were out of the size that I needed. They kept in touch and let me know when it was in. Very personal

Summer after summer one or both of our dogs ended up at the vet with foxtails in their ears or nose needing to be removed under sedation. These head guards are a game changer. The dogs tried to pull them off just once. Now they can run around at will on our 7 acres full of various awns. Of course I have to brush them out everywhere else but I have not found any under their “party hats” as we call them. One unexpected advantage, the dogs can’t eat deer poop anymore.

The masks fit perfectly. They have been a nice peace of mind. I like that the dogs can pant and breathe freely. They are a bit expensive and I say that because the same type of mask for a horse is $22.

This was shipped so fast! My dog wears it and it gives me such peace of mind, save your money from the vet- buy this instead!

Arrived sooner than expected and as a result of the sizing guidelines is a perfect fit.

I ordered the wrong size and they quickly responded to me on how to send back the wrong size and order a new one with the right size. Hopefully the credit to my credit card will not take too long

It was delivered quickly as promised. It does the job of keeping foxtails out of my dogs head. He doesn't mind wearing it and can drink water with it on.

Our puppy is wearing his mask without trying to pull it off after I BFF rd day if use. We can now walk without worrying about what he might eat. Very easy to use.

This product is a great product. I have gotten three Outfox masks in the last 8 years I live on a 160 acre ranch when the fox tells start drying out my dog does not go outside without it. She is a bullmastiff cross and she is 12 and 1/2 years old and yes she can breathe perfectly fine with the mask on and drink water.

Very prompt in responding to my online question, gave me a discount when ordering, and shipped my purchase immediately. The mesh hood is very useful and well made, though I'd suggest (size L) making a couple of different shapes (a big rottweiler has a different shaped head than a long-nosed dog, like a std poodle, collie, etc).

This is a great product and has helped to keep the foxtails off my fur baby. He loves to eat weeds while hiking, so this stopped him in his tracks. So easy to use, and he got used to it quickly.

I am a UK customer who couldn't find anything like this in the UK and it was a US friend who recommended this to me. Delivery was quick and hassle free. My GSD was quite happy to model this and the quality and fit seems excellent. Here in the UK our grass has not grown up yet with it being early spring, but I am happy to know that as soon as it has I can pop this on my dog with the peace of mind that he can be protected from the grass seeds as much as possible. No doubt he will get some strange looks, but we don't care - what a super product.

t was interesting to discover that a local veterinarian sells the guard but it is necessary to be a customer to purchase, however they let me try on a small size. It would have saved me time and money to do this initially.

I was looking for something to provide an extra layer of protection for my dog against wood ticks in addition to his monthly pills. Customer service promptly replied to my email regarding the use of the Outfox Field Guard for this purpose. Though no other customer has stated that they used the guard against ticks the representative took the time to send me a detailed description of the Field Guard. I was very impressed by this courtesy.
The Outfox Field Guard is a little heavier than I expected and it's taking a while for my dog to be comfortable with it.
We have not gone to Maine yet where the ticks were really bad last year so I can't say if the guard works against ticks but it's worth a try.
