Unsure if the property I booked was legit as I did not receive a contract. Rather, an invoice was sent with incorrect contact information. I called the number listed on the invoice to clarify and confirm my booking and the person who answered was not the person listed. Emailed Ownerdirect for a refund and the response was unprofessional and rude. Overall, too many red flags.
I booked a 2 week reservation in Barbados on 9th September and paid a deposit. I had an email to say thank you for your booking and confirmation of what I had booked. The following day I had another email to say that there had been a mistake on their site as the apartment I had booked was only available for long term rentals. After numerous emails I am still waiting for my refund and thy just keep saying that they are requesting a timescale of when it will be paid???
First time working with them, so far I have no complaints.. They are very helpful & have answered my questions in a timely manner.
We booked late but found the staff very helpful and pleasant. The process was easy.

OwnerDirect.com is not OwnerSdirect.com - I have used both sites, completely different operations I think ownerS is owned by homeaway and OwnerDirect is not. Both sites easy to use and I found that OwnerDirect.com had great customer service, I could talk to someone when I called for help but on the homeaway site, good luck you are on your own. Good vacation rental sources nonetheless.

I believe the previous reviewer has confused Ownerdirect with Ownersdirect
I have had 2 listings on Homeaway.com and it has been a totally frustrating experience. First I pay a large fee to list, then they take a hefty commission on each booking. Now I can no longer contact potential guests until I accept their booking. In addition a large "service fee" was added to the tariff for what I do not know. How greedy can they get. I would recommend not listing your property with this company!
