SCAM ALERT: I was scammed out of $2,800 by a company called Owners Accommodation that falsely claimed I could rent out unused RCI timeshare “getaway weeks” for thousands of dollars. They made big promises about easy payouts and contracts with corporate clients—but after 6 months of delays, lies, and now demands for more money, it’s clear this is a bait-and-switch scam. I never received a dime. Do NOT fall for it. I’m filing complaints with the BBB, the Florida Attorney General, and the FTC. If this happened to you too—report it!

Owners rentals are a very reliable and trusted website for advertising my villa in Javea Costa Blanca Spain.
We have been advertising with these for over 7 years now and have always had a steady flow of clients through them We do use the premium package and it works for us. Great site highly recommend.

They do not respond to emails
They do not honour their ‘no bookings, refund fee’ guarantee.
They do not remove contact details from mailing list when requested.
They generate numerous spam type emails with the text saying this page has ‘MOVED PERMANENTLY’.

I had advertised with the, received no bookings- only requests to renew my ad for more money. I have asked them to remove all my details from their mailing list many times over the last 18 months and website and have had no response.

Started again phishing with unsolicited emails
No link to cancel your email address from their system and after writing that I'm not interested they sent to me 5 emails only today. We'll see tomorrow.
Bad experience in the past and again the shown to don't be serious

Very professional company, we have advertised our holiday home in Kissimmee Florida with owner’s rentals for about 6 years now. We always get good steady flow of bookings every year through them, and their prices are very reasonable compared to some of the others who produce absolutely zero bookings. We would highly recommend them based on our experience of using them.

We’ve been advertising and used owners rentals to book holidays with for many years now. Our home in Kissimmee Florida receives plenty of enquiries and we average about 8/10 bookings a year from them, with half being repeat clients. So it’s a shame to see all the negative reviews. We have recommended ownersrentals to friends and family and they have always been very satisfied. O well I suppose you can’t please everyone, but for us ownersrentals.com are the best we’ve advertised with over the past 10 years. We are a premium client and our 4 bedroom villa is in Kissimmee Florida

I paid nearly £150 to advertise my holiday cottage #littledodges on this website in June. I have regularly checked for any enquiries or emails without a result. I therefore decided to go with their policy of :-

I have just spent the past 2 days attempting to get through to them on their landline in the UK which states "they are currently unavailable" and also the one in North America with the same result. I have sent numerous emails to all their addresses shown and received not a single reply.
DO NOT I repeat DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY using this site.
Further, I have put in search after search and the only properties that show are the ones in their premium listing, 3 only in the UK.

This company is not operating properly if at all. I see there are reviews from earlier on but cannot believe that there are any from this date onward 8/11/2017 that could be anything but bad.

If anyone reading this knows something I don't please get in touch as I would really like to have my money back.

I paid a lot of money to join and that was half a year ago, Not one inquiry, do not waste your money. Ths place is a scam and should be investigated.

Our second home is in Davenport Florida, and is usually fully booked most of the year, especially school holidays. We have been advertising with owners rentals for over 5 years and they now account for over 80% of our bookings. There was a bit of a blip with them about three years ago, but they seem to be on the ball now. I’ve always found them very helpful and professional and have no complaints. I’m purely speaking on my experience with them and have no problem recommending them to other owners. The only thing I would say is when we upgraded to a premium listing on the site our bookings trebled. There a good reliable company that’s been around for over 10 years, which says something.

This is the worst sort of scam company for holiday home owners. They trick you with bogus offers of guaranteed bookings and money back guarantees. But then they disappear, wont return emails, have no working phone number. Do not ever deal with this Company

I despair. Tried umpteen times to get refund of advertising fee which is 'guaranteed' if no bookings with ownersrentals.com. Tried leaving messages, emailed every email address connected to them, no success over a few years. Advert previously reinstated at end of advert expiry date even though I requested that it should not, had just wanted 'guaranteed' return of fee. I tried contacting them at their London address (various businesses in the building but person on switchboard not heard of OwnersRentals, not surprised, another reviewer (20th Aug 2016) I notice actually went to the address to be told same. I am not a 'business' just an honest reliable person who would like to receive my £149.99 back, obviously I am too trusting, won't fall for that again. If anyone could tell me how to get a refund I would be thankful - not interested in comments off any so called Owners who have received 'bookings', Bookings are not the issue here it's the Guaranteed refund I am chasing. OwnersRentals is there anybody there?..............

We have four villas advertised with ownersrentals.com Thee villas are located on the Highlands Reserve in Davenport/Orlando, Florida and also one in Denia Spain.

We having phoned more times than I care to remember month after month both the UK and north American number given on their web site Nobody ever answers or gets back to you even when you leave a message. Even sending emails 9 times out of 10 they do not answer.

I therefore decided to visit their London office. the address is shown on the site web. Having arrived at the address the reception staff stated ownersrentals do not have offices there.

Our problems began when they upgraded their site. According to our villa advertisements on their web site we are supposed to have had 3,643 (Three Thousand Six hundred and Forty Three page views and not one enquiry.

I have tried to raise this with ownersrentals that it is not reasonable to have that many page views without getting an enquiry.

I think the problem is simply a programming problem and should be easy to resolve by their technical people

All in all they have a good web site but their customer service is ZERO and could not recommend this site if customers want to be able to communicate with ownersrentals.com and get a response, you are just throwing your money away.

We only joined this website a few days ago, after searching for Florida holiday villa rentals by owners on Google, and got our first paid booking this morning. I’m must admit we are very impressed and hope the bookings keep coming. We purchased their premium/sponsored package with the Free Florida Disney page listing. Best thing we’ve ever done, and would highly recommend them to other owners. The site is really easy to use and customer service very prompt.

I received no request at all except when the subscription expired. After payment ( already 3 times) we have received a request with the same email and the exact same text; "We would like to book 7 nights from 1st May 2015 . Please let me know if you have these dates available and prices. Thanks Erin". it will not surprise you that I received no answer at all from this Erin. When I ask an explanation at owners rental, they just give me a link to their website without answer my question.
Tree times the same email address, 3 times the same text and 3 times after we had to renew and paid, with 3 times NO ANSWER. It may be accident, but I feel extremely cheated. Than no serious answers at my mail to owners rentals. make your own decision, but think three times.

Also strange and suspicious that after this review will be an extreemly good review.................. :-)

Its a pity that we can't choos NO stars at all........... :-(

We love owner’s rentals; we took the plunge last year to purchase a small villa in the Jalon Valley Spain, in a small village called Alcalali. We needed to rent it, to be able to afford it, as we took a big loan out to pay for it. We had used the site to book our holidays in the past, and decided to advertise with them, at first we didn’t get much of a response, so after a couple months I called them and explained our situation, and that we were new to the rentals business and desperately needed bookings. They passed us over to a girl called Sam, and after a very useful and lengthy conversation we agreed to take out a Premium Listing, which not only put us at the top of the listings but, they rewrote the advertisement, added and enhanced all our pictures, made the listing SEO & Google friendly (Whatever that means) and within a couple of weeks the enquiries came flooding in. So we can’t thank or praise them enough.

I don't want to spend more money phoning you, everybody who read this blog need to know how unserious are you. Please, once more delate my address from your mailing list or give to everybody the opportunity to delate by themselves their address adding a link in your spamming mailing like all the serious companies.
Now explain this one! sorry for the .... But trust pilot demands to don't put link or email or reference name and asked to me to delete also my address put last time

I have received like many others owners an email by ownersrentals.com proposing for few euro the opportunity to advertise in their website. The web is full by holiday rentals web agencies that propose always to be the best and they have already tons of bookings just for you unreal and impossible to be true, all just to try to take from your wallet small or big quantities of money without nothing back for you.
Everybody needs to try to survive, so I can understand that agencies like ownersrentals when tell to be the best and making you feel stupid when you are the only one that doesn't receive enquiries from their website when they send to their clients every week thousands of serious enquiries,, Well, after I decided to advertise in their website, I didn't thought to reach so many enquiries but just few as from the other websites where my house is advertised, Thinking to receive some interest, someone that could contact me asking some more details, or if a period is still available, but unfortunately in one year nothing has happened.
After few months I have contacted The ownersrentals owner asking why for him, I dind't receive interest from their clients, but no replies.
The months passed away, and personally I forgot the advertisement with ownersrentals.com but receiving from them the email where they asked money to renew I take advance of that to reply again asking the same as before.
A woman reply to me telling that she will take care of my situation but nothing has happened again and no more news.
few weeks later the advertisement has expired and no more news from the owners rentals owner or from the customer service. I've written again to .........replying to one of the email sent from their website where as always they have sent tons of enquiries and he replied that has never received any email from me. I replied immediately to him and again, nothing has happened but he most fun thing happened has been that one week later the advertisement has expired I received an email from Ownersrentals telling that I ve received an enquiry and to read it I need to click on the link. And what's happened? I couldn't read the message because my advertisement was expired!!!
I've never met a so bad marketing and costumers supports website, I'm happy for who has been satisfy from Ownersrentals,but personally I can't be.
It's ridicolous when an agency that would like reach more client need to write hurry up is the last opportunity to be one of the 7400 owners that has received the enquiries.
I would like to let know to The ownersrentals owner too, that that week after one year my advertisement is not online, I received from ownersrentals in the same day two enquiries!
I've tried to be cancelled from their mailing list, but the don't have link and writing to them to be cancel they don't reply as always.
Well, my english is not good, I'm not american or british, but a simply italian but I hope to be clear once for ever because looks like that The ownersrentals owner read this blog, I ask again to be removed from your website forever, I don't trust in you anymore and for me you are unserious.
An holiday website if is serious doesn't need excuses to attract new clients with lies as your and support the clients that have. Spend money to promote who is in their website acquiring positions in the web and looking for customers for their clients not promising and making feeling stupid who is already with him.

I did try this company a few years back as one of a few outlets for my villa in Florida. I did not have much if any success from what I recall but of course these things happen and I put it down to perhaps bookings just not being good at that time.
So, when they put out one of their special offer deals a few months back to place a property with them I decided having a number of years gone by to give it another try.
Now I am convinced that it was not 'bookings' not being good, just a company.
They seem to exist by bombarding you with all sorts of offers and attractive guaranteed bookings statements, presumably to get more owners signing up and getting cash in.
The worst thing is that no matter what name actually appears at the bottom of the e mails or who you address e mails to NO ONE EVER RESPONDS. This must be another company policy ????
Either way Owners do not waste your money with this outfit and for those who have already been taken in by the claims - don't expect any money back if you don't get any bookings either .......

We booked a holiday villa in Spain for a family get together last year through ownersrentals website on a recommendation from a colleague at work who uses them all the time. Had a great time no problems and were very impressed. So we listed our place in Florida and I must say so far so good, plenty of interest and some very good bookings. As an owner and traveler I would highly recommend.

We’ve been using ownersrentals.com website for many years. We were introduced to them at a holiday home exhibition in London, when we thinking of buying one ourselves,(Never did by the way) But we booked a place through them to take the kids to Florida for a week. Had no problems booked direct with the owners, John and Anne, who were just wonderful and nothing was a problem, and since then booked probably more than 8 holidays with them over the past 6 or 7 years. We have recommended them to lots of our family and friends and they all say the same as us. There new website is even better than the last one, which had got a bit out dated. But in general they are very good and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking a holiday rental direct.

It’s not true. I took them up on their offer of “Guaranteed booking or your money back”, I paid £149.99 in March 2012. After a year with them I have not had any bookings, so I emailed several times asking for my money back and got no response.

I even posted a message on their FaceBook page, which has now mysteriously disappeared and some one responded saying that they had been trying, unsuccessfully, to contact me. Huh! My email address and phone number is on all my messages and on the Owners Rentals website.

I doubt I will ever see my money! They are crooks!
