Oxio's (my) Wifi internet speed is 3 - 4 times faster

Oxio's (my) Wifi internet speed is 3 - 4 times faster than Bell's using the exact same computer. Perhaps more significantly, the interent speed is quite consistent as it ranges from a low of 425 to a high of 525 ( a variance not noticed).

My experience has been quite positive

My experience has been quite positive. I haven't had a lot of issues with the internet service and it is smooth without lagging. Kind communication and hassle-free in my opinion. I feel comfortable choosing this service provider again provided that I return to Canada. Also, their price is very reasonable for unlimited data.

Ordered internet service

Ordered internet service. Equipment never arrived. Zero accountability.
I signed up with Oxio and they shipped my equipment on April 2. It's now April 12 — the package has not arrived and no one is taking responsibility.
Oxio tells me to contact Purolator. Purolator tells me to contact Oxio. I've gone back and forth multiple times with no resolution. Neither party will file a proper claim or reship the equipment.
In the meantime, I'm running my entire connection off a mobile hotspot with limited data — paying for a service I cannot use.
What's most frustrating: this is happening before I've even used their network. If this is how Oxio handles problems at the very start of a customer relationship, I have serious doubts about what happens when something goes wrong later.
What I expected: A company that owns the problem when their shipment fails.
What I got: Two companies pointing fingers at each other while I absorb the cost.
Would not recommend.

Been with Oxio for 3-4 years

Been with Oxio for 3-4 years, seeing all the negative reviews compelled me to share. I've had one or two issues over that period that were resolved. I have paid the same monthly fee for that time it hasn't gone up, the speed has been fine, I work from home. The customer service is fine for the price. People need to understand if you pay low you might not get the best customer service but it was acceptable.

TERRIBLE customer service

TERRIBLE customer service, they can’t seem to be able to schedule a simple visit or show up on time when expected. They either schedule the visit on the wrong date or they don’t show up AT ALL. And when you need customer support is either a long wait to actually talk with a person or a stupid chat with an AI that keeps glitching.
I’m considering changing providers if that means I won’t have to deal with this bullshit anymore

Zero stars

Zero stars. Poor quality service, "pods" are worthless junk and they block IPTVs. The customer "service" is non existent. A bot which circles around in useless loops. Emails take days and there is no response most of the time. If someone does reply, they play dumb and repeat meaningless "troubleshooting" steps and then they blame your power bar. .... k It's the worst. Don't even try it.

Avoid

Avoid! Rates at the time were ok but internet was never the speed promised. When I was able to get cheaper faster internet with a different provider I cancelled and shipped the equipment back. Two months after they received the equipment I got an email saying I never returned it to which I replied sharing the tracking of the UPS service they provided the return shipping for which showed the delivery. Two months later and they send another email saying they never received it and billing me $180 for the equipment which they already have! Avoid at all costs!

Daughter signed up for OXIO in Aug 2025…

Daughter signedup for OXIO in Aug 2025 for university in Kingston. Two days after receiving their equipment and they still could not connect so, (I was helping), we said thanks but no thanks and they sent a link to send back their equipment. I took it to Canada Post late August and away it went and had a copy of the tracking #. After about a month I thought I should check the shipment and nothing showed up as delivered. I contacted the company via messenger, they don't answer phones, and was told that their "warehouse was swamped" and the CSR was sure the equipment had arrived. I waited another month, contacted them again, same response, so eventually I forgot about it and chucked out the tracking #. 4 months after we sent the equipment they start sending threatening letters to my daughter. I contect them "again" and they now blame whatever the issue was on the Canada Post strike?? and then ask "do you have your tracking #?...like 4 months later. I say no but am really pissed off and tell them loose the threats with my daughter as she in finals and now stressed out becuase of their inabilty to run their company. The CSR tells me that the issue will be closed. Now my daughter has gotten collection agency notices. This company is not only incompentant they are just simply useless. Do NOT use them. It all started with them not being able to connect to existing coax or telco lines present in a house. They have NO real person support...just cheap middle man crap.

I signed up with Oxio and regret it.

I signed up with Oxio and regret it.

Customer service is weak. You never speak to a real person. Everything runs through text messages. Responses come at odd hours. The tone feels dismissive and unprofessional.

I cancelled my service and returned the required equipment. I accidentally included my own personal router in the return box. Instead of contacting me, they threw it out. Then they charged me 130 dollars for what they called unreturned equipment.

They made no effort to resolve the issue. No phone call. No accountability. No ownership.

If you value clear communication and fair problem solving, look elsewhere

Absolutely ridiculous customer service

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. They only talk to you when selling/installing. After that it is impossible to reach a human. Been trying to resolve an issue for 48 hours and has been impossible to reach them. Once I do they (Agent Diyaa) blame me for the issue.

My experience with oxio was frustrated

My experience with oxio was frustrated. During my planification to go oversea for a military mission for 6 months with a extension. They waited extra 3 days to proceed my temporary cancellation to get a other monthly payment in. When i moved back to Canada, my new place had already internet. I followed the instruction and sent back the router to the address they indicated. I kept my canada post receipt for 2 months. 4 months later oxio, are charging me 179$ for not returning the equipment. Of course, after 2 months , i did throw away the receipts. Also , as i m very busy, i been trying to talk to someone from the company and it is hard by email chat. Because if you dont answer in 24h . They delete the conversation. I had to explain myself to 4 different persons with no evident follow up or notes down on your file. They dont care about you, unless you give them money.
