My son loves this book, Max the Meerkat: Eco-Adventures in burrow meadows, he has been asking questions about solar and wind energy ever since. We are looking forward to the next Max book.

MAX’S SCREEN TIME BALANCE

Finally, a book that does the work for you
My kids actually put the tablet down after we read this — without me asking. Max is so relatable and the story never feels like a lecture. It just clicks. This one’s going on permanent rotation.

The tallest problem on the farm

If you’re looking for a picture book that goes beyond ‘be yourself’ platitudes and actually shows kids what that looks like — this is it. The Tallest Problem on the Farm is warm, funny, and surprisingly layered for a picture book. We’ve read it at least a dozen times and it still sparks great conversations. The kind of book you keep on the shelf for years. Five stars from our whole household.
