AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Ordered a GBP1000 printer w/toner & a few other computer supplies well before Xmas. It never arrived. When I enquired about it, I was sent to the company DPD's website, nothing happened. A few days later, everything apart from the printer was dumped on my doorstep in the rain (NO SIGNATURE!!) & the box had been opened. I called them only to be told that no, according to their records, my order was still with DPD. This was reiterated over the next few days, despite my telling them that half the order had arrived in a deplorable manner! Tracked down the printer, which is delivered on a pallet (so you would've thought that the courier company would've been told to send two people!) finally it was delivered on 29 December. (After they missed my pre-Christmas delivery date ) OK, so on 29 December, printer arrives. With one courier man. Obviously he can't deliver it, too heavy for one man. Fair enough. it goes back to the depot. Nothing on email from oyy. My mum calls a few days later saying, the courier guy is here again and trying to deliver the printer. Hello? Obviously said printer is returned to the depot cos the courier company sent only one man to deliver a heavy item. When I questioned oyy, their response? "Well, it was too heavy, you should have people on your side to lift it up." HELLO? I have been dealing with Amazon all this time, and that has never happened. I was really thrown by this comment. Anyway. I offered to get my own courier company to pick it up from their warehouse. No, that's not possible. I give up. I am told on the livechat that they can also take back my toners (what am I going to do with these since I never got my printer!). Thought that sounded too easy? It was. Just got an email telling me I can only get a refund if I PAY to return the toners, and they have to be 100% perfect i.e. not opened, not even the box. Wrote an email to them stating that seeing as I ordered this printer since early December, and I have had a completely ridiculous customer service experience, the least they can do is take it back for free. Response? You guessed it. Not their problem. Rude, Unhelpful, Inconsistent Promises by different salespeople, CRAP! It's my first and last time,. I AM STICKING TO AMAZON from now on!

like a bad joke

I ordered a laptop with this company and received a confirmation of my order. I paid for next day delivery and waited all day at home. It didn't arrive. I e-mailed the customer service next day to enquire and they told me that they have cancelled my order. My bank informs me that the transaction has been made and not reversed. So I paid for a computer, never received it and they did not even care to let me know about the situation. I hope to get my bank to sort this out. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I started to believe that some of the the 5 star reviews are not genuine. How can a company get either completely terrible or absolutely fantastic reviews?

waste of space

this company is a waste of space,no help from advisors,tracking number a joke,avoid,shop around.the one star is for,they was £2 cheaper than play.com.three phone calls,waited in all day,never arrived,no im taking the one star away,but i cant,perfetic.

Oh yes yes yes ....

What you want from a company is a clear to understand website, clear information about price and clear instructions on delivery. My fiance brought a Samsung N130 netbook and paid the £9.99 for next day delivery and that was yesterday. I'm now using that same netbook to write this review. Based on service so far, very good, very clear and very easy.

excellent, fast, reliable service

The HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All-in-One Colour Inkjet Printer that I ordered through OYYY.co.uk was everything I had hoped for. The delivery was very prompt. I would recommend this company highly.

Toshiba 1Gb laptop memory - good value, fast delivery

Found most sites are actually selling "compatible" branded memory - sometimes with very deceptive descriptions/part numbers and at high prices. Oyyy had genuine Toshiba memory cheaper than many of these other brands. I only paid for standard delivery (2-4 days, I think) and it arrived the very next day. Installed in the second slot with no trouble at all.

Horrible Service and attitude

spoke to customer service, what service! Manager came on, exceptionally rude behaviour from this guy Oliver, who rudely says "the only reason ur calling me is cause the price has gone up", I says only reason I am calling cause you didnt deliver the goods and cancel the order.....Totally unacceptable attitude!!

never seen any cust service manager this rude in me life!!!
stay away!!!!!!!!!!!

Fast and glitch-free service

Ordered notebook Wednesday, had them delivered Saturday. Price very competitive, and good communication about status throughout. Only thing keeping me from 5 stars is that the graphic card was listed as a 512MB but turns out to be 1GB. While this does work out to my advantage, it may also indicate that product specifications may not always be 100% correct.

Excellent Price and Delivery Speed

I have only used OYYY.co.uk once but it was absolutely fantastic - I ordered on the Sunday evening and didn't bother paying for postage - so it was expected to take up to 5 working days. I came in on the Tuesday evening and there was my monitor. Top Marks for Price, Delivery speed, and service. But remeber tocheck you spam email folder as all of OYYY's emails went throught to there.

Terrible service

I ordered a webcam as a Xmas present. It was listed as in stock, my visa payment was processed and the order confirmed. A couple of days before Christmas, Oyyy wrote to say that they didn't have any in stock after all. I hope I get a refund, but their inefficiency means a lost Xmas present and warrants a better response.

Excellent price and service

I have only used this company twice. Both times the items (A Canon printer and a BenQ monitor) were cheaper than other suppliers. Delivery was extremely quick and their site was very simple to navigate. Would have no problem in recommending them.

Woeful - price unavailable and no stock

Ordered goods at a strong price compared to competition. Order confirmed on internet. Email confirmation received.

Took phone call at 4pm the following day with an excuse that when the operative went to pick the stock it was unavilable (a £200+ camcorder).

I was told that I would have to cancel and re-order at the "new" higher price (about £40 higher) or they could offer me the lower spec model for only £10 more!!!!

I queried if the stock was ever available at that price and got no satisfactory answer.

I refused to haggle with them and told them to cancel my order. I would rather pay slightly more for a credible company than deal with dishonest suppliers.

Poor Customer Service!!!!

Having received the DELL1320CN that we ordered, upon receipt of the printer we felt the printer was unsuitable for the purpose bought for.

Stupidly we assumed that Oyyy would operate in a professional and fair manner and like all things we have purchased, be able to have a 7 day return window.

In fairness to Oyyy, they do allow this. However this is only on the understanding that you don't open the box!

The question here is, how do you check what you've been sent?!

The answer is you can't! As once you have opened it, no matter how careful, they will not accept it back, this is understandable for items that can be copied i.e. DVD's etc, etc. But on a printer which you need to check?!!!!!

Should you wish to try and argue this out, be prepared for abusive language and someone to mock you at the end of the line!

In short, do not be dazzled with cheap prices and a deal too good to be true, as we all know there's no such thing as a free lunch!

Be aware, avoid them at all cost!
