This company do everything to make the claims process difficult. When is there going to be a provider who really cares about the customer.
Despite followingWarning to Others: Our £2000 Graphics Card “Vanished” – No Real Support from Evri or Packlink
Despite following all steps to return a faulty graphics card (Asus RTX 4090) under warranty, our parcel – clearly labelled, tracked, and handed to Evri – was lost after being scanned at their depot. The value of the item was £2000, yet we were offered only £25 in compensation by Packlink, despite providing all purchase evidence and even flagging it as a high-value shipment.
We reported this as theft to the Metropolitan Police, as it is clear the parcel was in Evri’s possession when it disappeared. So far, neither Evri nor Packlink has provided any driver explanation, GPS logs, dashcam footage, or proper investigation into how a sealed high-value item can simply vanish.
Even worse – the seller (Punch Technology) failed to inform us of their DPD insured return process until after the parcel was gone. We asked clearly what the fastest way to send the return would be. No proper guidance was given. Now everyone is pointing fingers at someone else.
🔍 No accountability. No transparency. No fairness.
We are now pursuing this via the Small Claims Court.
To anyone returning valuable goods: do not trust Evri or Packlink with your parcels unless you're fully insured, and be wary of sellers who don’t guide you through safe return options.
SCAM
Support is not interested to help you. Please be careful. This Company is a Scam.
Packlink Should Not Exist
This company should be closed down for good. Wasting so much customers time and effort to claim for damage. When they confirm their mistake and compensation, chase them for weeks for the confirmed payment but still waiting then no reply despite several emails sent. I will carry on chasing and won’t give in!

Don’t use them guys they cooperate with thieves when your parcel lost (stolen) they dont care.Courier company tracking number always wrong when trying to enter on their page and imposible to get reference number for lost parcel.Avoid like they avoid compensation
Always addtionally overcharged
It's the second time I've been overcharged after shipping due to a few centimetres not being declared or a higher weight of the parcel.
The weight scanned on their end is still a mystery.
Refuse to resolve lost parcel - despite being told by courier it is lost.
I have previously had no issues with Packlink, but it has now been over 15 working days since I raised my claim and I still get the same 'no response from courier so can't resolve' line.
Well I have had a response from the courier and shared their feedback, but they will still no resolve and refund me. The parcel hasn't moved for almost a month in the sorting office, so common sense regardless should prevail and I should be refunded.
They have breached their own timeline, refused my request to speak to a manager and do not have any sense or urgency to resolve this matter.
Very disappointed and if they can't manage the courier, then why work with them? My contract was with pscklink, they have the duty of care to refund, but they have no duty of care it would seem.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY THIS…
IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY FOR AN OVERWEIGHT PARCEL THEN IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME UNTIL YOU ARE! IT IS A VERY WELL KNOWN AND DOCUMENTED SCAM THEY DO JUST HELPING THEMSELVES TO £3.18 FINES. PLEASE CHALLENGE THIS INTHE SMALL CLAIMS COURT. YES IT'S A BIT OF HASSLE BUT YOU WILL WIN! AS THEY OBVIOUSLY CANNOT SUPPLY SUPPORTING EVIDENCE. FIGHT BACK AGAINST THESE SCUMBAGS & HIT THEM BACK WITH BIGGER FINES!!! Billing Weight Deviation - H051JA0124305565 - GB2025EBAYCIP0008660985
PackLink do not refund
I used two times PackLink (with Ebay). The second time, the PackLink's partner damaged my parcel. I had a lot of trouble to first know who is responsible to refund me but also to get in touch directly (by email) with PackLink. PackLink has been informed by its partner the 08th July that the parcel was damaged on 13th June. I sent multiple reminders but they told me that they are sorry or need more time ! I think they are waiting for me to get bored asking and to forget to be refunded. Once Packlink learn that the parcel was damaged, they should refund me immediately with fees and the amount of the content of the parcel...
Packlink randomly deduct money from my balance
Packlink randomly deduct money from your eBay balance. Yet again, I have been deducted funds from my eBay balance for a supposed overweight package. This has happened multiple times. They are never in the right. It takes so much time to deal with.
This never happened once when I used my usual provider. I now pay higher postal rates and get a diabolical service.
Forced on us by eBay. Avoid at all cost.
Scam overweight charges
Increased number of “overweight” charges coming through for items that are significantly below the price band. Keep fighting and getting refunds but it’s getting beyond a joke! Make sure you keep an eye on your transactions not to fall foul of these scammers.
I've been on ebay for 20 years and have…
I've been on ebay for 20 years and have never experienced anything as bad this Packlink company. They will do absolutely anything to avoid refunding you for legitimate claims. They ask loads of pointless question and for 'proof' which is practically impossible to provide such as proof of how much you paid for something out of a charity shop years earlier. They are worse than useless, they are a liability
Packlink are operating a scam via eBay
Packlink are operating a scam via eBay, you buy the postage as it makes tracking on eBay easier but you will get an over weight charge after item has been delivered even if it is well within weight. Rip off, do not use
I received an invoice from eBay stating…
I received an invoice from eBay stating that the package I sent via Packlink (UPS) was irregularly shaped. They then sent me a photo of my package, which shows that the package is rectangular - this is how Packlink and UPS fools its customers.

Packlink is just a parsitic organism on ebay.
They offer printing labels on items in "Perfumes" category.
They charge you double for the shipping, so you would think it's because they had to treat it as "Dangerous Goods". But no. They do not process it any different and when the parcel reaches to UPS/Customs all the hell begins...
On top of that all they blame you for not stating it's "Dangerous Goods" and ebay offers you only "Print Label" button.
Very bad experience
Very bad experience, I do not recommend this service
I booked a shipment with Packlink and, aside from the fact that they failed to meet the agreed pick-up and delivery dates, which already caused me a lot of inconvenience and wasted time chasing missing labels, service changes, etc. (and which I didn’t even formally complain about at the time), now, more than a month later, they’ve charged me an extra fee for the parcel weight without any prior notification or providing any proof of the actual weight.
Even if the weight had indeed been higher, the very least they should have done was inform me before shipping and give me the option to accept or decline the additional cost, instead of surprising me so many days later. To make matters worse, they told me the charge would be made automatically using the same card I paid with, and a couple of days later sent me a payment reminder with an additional surcharge.
In short, this is a non-transparent service with zero customer focus. I will definitely not use Packlink again and, of course, do not recommend it to anyone who values reliability and fair treatment.
The weight of this package was under…
The weight of this package was under 5000g. It was just speakers grills, definitely not 14500.00 g.
Again and again scam company, do not use them go elswhere.
BEWARE!!
BEWARE!!
Sold an item on Ebay for £16.32
(A small electric plane which did NOT weigh 3kg!)
Packlink charged £15.08 to deliver it in uk
Profit from my sale £.24
Avoid their insurance, it’s a trap.
I submitted a claim for a damaged LEGO set (missing pieces due to a hole in the box), fully documented with photos, proof of value, and even a declaration of value as requested. After a week of back-and-forth, they rejected the claim because I used small-bubble wrap, which they deemed “inadequate packaging”, despite the item being carefully protected and double-boxed.
They kept asking for more documents, even after I provided a full eBay invoice, market value comparisons, and proof that I never received payment due to an open return case. It felt like they were just looking for excuses to deny the claim.
I’ve since discovered that many others have had similar experiences. Their insurance policy seems designed to look legitimate but is nearly impossible to claim against. I’ve wasted hours trying to follow every rule and still got nothing.
If you’re shipping anything valuable, please don’t rely on Packlink’s insurance. You’re better off using a service that actually honors its coverage.
Stay Away from Packlink
Stay Away from Packlink — Untrustworthy and Borderline Scam!
I strongly advise anyone considering Packlink to think twice. This company has made it clear they are only interested in taking your money — including insurance fees — but when it comes to honoring claims, they make the process deliberately difficult, frustrating, and often impossible.
We work hard to run our businesses, provide products to customers, and rely on these shipping services to operate smoothly. But with Packlink, not only do they charge extra fees after shipment, but they also refuse to process legitimate claims, even when you’ve paid for insurance. You end up refunding your customers AND losing the product value, all while Packlink washes their hands of any responsibility.
In short, they take your insurance money but fail to deliver on their end when problems arise — a classic example of how not to run a trustworthy business.
I’ve had enough and will be using reliable alternatives like Parcel2Go and others going forward. I suggest others do the same to avoid being scammed out of your hard-earned money.
Absolutely avoid Packlink if you value your business and peace of mind.
