I have fitted this item and bleed the brakes, it works exactly as it should do. I can't comment on it's longevity as I've only done a few miles, but it does the job and the price is very reasonable.

It seems perfectly fit for purpose. These are much cheaper than original equipment but they work perfectly well and do a very good job for the price. On a series 2/2a this is the brake and clutch master cylinder so very handy to carry as a spare if you are going off the beaten track. I bought it as a clutch master cylinder for a 2a. It is also possible to make this fit a series 1 as brake master cylinder but it involves a bit of drilling/fabrication of the bulkhead outrigger.
