Awful to see the animals kept in these conditions, far too small, no enrichment and animals are very obviously depressed and mentally damaged, the elephant pacing, the lions kept in a dry tiny paddock with no water, the crocodiles well I don’t even think they were alive as old food on the slab? Pack animals houses seperately, birds unable to fly due to space, and the tigers are so skinny? Owner should Be very ashamed!
Left the zoo in tears
Whilst birds and animals look in very good physical health their living conditions were not fit for purpose on any level The elephant had no companion and was obviously very bored and they charge €50 for 5 people to go into her enclosure She did have some grass something that was glaringly absent elsewhere A raven that can live many years was solitary in it’s dire cage The reptiles well need I go on …. Why aren’t these places governed under strict rules Yes we’re privileged to visit but surely their health and mental well-being should be paramount after all we can leave whilst they are imprisoned
Most amazing zoo my partner and I have ever been too by far, all animals all are so cared for and loved by the staff you can tell they are not just at work it’s a passion for every single member there, lee was exceptional and a lovely man when taking us through the elephant experience, took many photos which we will treasure forever, Karen was an absolute star most amazing women we’ve ever met so down to earth and an absolute treat to be around, she made our lemur experience something to never forget, I will definitely be coming back here. Most amazing people and animals ever and the best birthday I’ve had so far. 100/10!!
What a great Zoo so clean and tidy with large enclosures for the animals.
We loved it there for our holiday and it was agreat day out for the family. We would recommend it for all families when in Cyprus in the summer.
