Wrong product delivered

I ordered Toyota dark grey mica metallic paint, order confirmed. 10 days later I received Toyota marine blue base coat paint. After numerous emails Paintnuts refuse to recognise their mistake despite sending copies of the order and photographs of the paint they sent. No exchange and no refund.

Very easy process

Paint ordered easily by using the link that helped me to order the correct colour. Kept up to date in terms of when to expect the delivery.
Given clear instructions as to how to use the paint, allowing me to get better results.

Very poor delivery service- still not arrived

Very poor delivery service. Still waiting for an order placed 28th March. Told to wait another week before they will consider a refund. Blamed Royal Mail for delay.( 3 weeks total from order). If you want your order in a reasonable period of time look for another supplier. Only positive is they do have a customer service telephone no.

Brilliant - great match and great service

I just want to say thank you for my recent order for Mercedes white paint. It is perfect! I first ordered it from another company (too yellow), a second company (too white), but yours is spot on and the job is done apart from a final buff once it has hardened.

Ordered on line for a paint pen and was…

Ordered on line for a paint pen and was given 5 days for delivery. After the 6th day I had not received it I contacted them and was advised it's been sent. After another 3 days without receiving it I asked to cancel. Another 3 days it arrived. However it does not match my 2 year old car at all. Would not recommend anyone getting car paint from this company. You can certainly get it a lot cheaper and hopefully it will match.

The paint is a perfect colour match

The paint is a perfect colour match, and the item sent with Evri has still never arrived (no suprise) but the reorder with Royal Mail arrived as was told to expect it.
Its a pity Evri let you down, but I have still given you 5 stars, and can confirm I will be a repeat customer

AWFUL

Absolutely awful customer service. They don’t reply for weeks upon end, when they do reply they then just unassign the email as they don’t want to deal with it, refuse to open complaints or provide any info. Definitely AVOID! Small claims court action is now pending.

Great colour match and pen nib applicator.

Having produced a special colour (Royal Green) Skoda decided they wouldn’t bother to produce touch up sticks/pens for it. Fortunately PaintNuts did, and having tested it on a hidden area, I was delighted to find it was an excellent colour match. I even lost sight of where I had used it. The pen nib applicator is also such much better and easier to use than the brush in most touch up sticks.

An added bonus was that the touch up pen worked out cheaper than Skoda would’ve charged had they sold one.

On the downside, PaintNuts need to look at the quality of the bottles that they use. The primer arrived with a split in the bottom & leaking paint (although quickly replaced by PaintNuts when I emailed them). The bottles can also be really tricky to open.

Paint had leaked during delivery and no reply from company

Ordered some paint for our upvc windows, within 5 minutes of delivery I emailed (26th march) to inform them that one of the clips hadn’t been put on properly and the paint had leaked, I also attached 3 photographs, I had an automated email back with a ticket ID acknowledging the email and saying someone would be in touch within 1 business day and as of today (31st march) I’ve heard nothing back
There is a phone number but that just makes a strange sound at you and the call ends…. Complete waste of £60, after seeing all the reviews on here it seems this is the standard customer service from this company!

Update: the below reply is an insult, I was offered 5% which comes out at £3!!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!

An expensive waste of time

Bought 2 x touch up +primer + lacquer for different cars. One Classic car colour for £26.99, the other for £18.99. Both touch up paint brushes were too long for the container therefore useless as the brush had deformed at the bottom of the container. Then I discover the colour match for both was totally wrong. All in all, an expensive waste of time! Their website is misleading as it shows a clearly manipulated 4.6/5 from another review site which has a Trustpilot rating of 1.3/5. Don't waste your time or money, buy elsewhere.

Poor customer service

Made an error on an order putting two of the same items in my basket instead of one. Emailed immediately about the error seeking that it be corrected and a refund given, but still no response after 48 hours and looks like order now despatched.
Very poor customer service and will not use again.

Update-

The response from PaintNuts is factually incorrect. I received an automated response to my initial email seeking to amend the order and they simply failed to respond within the timeframes given, resulting in the duplicated order being despatched:

We would like to acknowledge that we have received your request and a ticket has been created.

A support representative will review your request and send you a personal response (usually within 1 business day).

Absolutely rubbish

Absolutely rubbish. Paint far too thick. The brushes attached to the paint pots ate not secure and just wobble making it impossible to use. I ordered the extra brushes which were rubbish. Customer service non existent emailed twice no response. Never again. Waste of £40

Terrible customer service

I ordered a paint pen for my car, what came was the wrong shade of red, I thought it would have been no problem getting it changed.
No, after asking me to do some tests to make sure it wasn't wrong they just stopped emailing me, been ignored for 2 days despite several emails sent. Terrible customer service. I won't be using them again.
