Pairview learning experience

With little or no experience about Big Data analysis. My learning experience was wonderful, I was able to have a full understanding with the first few courses due to the well knowledgeable facilitators who was patient and ready to carry everyone along😊.

Data Visualization and Reporting with Excel

I am currently on the Data Science Programme and just completed the Data Visualization and Reporting Course with Excel and it really was very insightful and and eye opener.
The trainer, Emeka Nwaichi, did a fantastic job as he did his best to carry everyone along every step of the way.He was thorough in his teaching and explanation and also patient.
The Data Science programme with Pairview promises to be really insightful and I look forward to the other courses.

Training at Pairview

The Data Analytics programme at Pairview Limited has been great. I have been able to learn using Excel for report & data visualization, query data using SQL and the most interesting was where I used Power BI to visualize, interpret & analyse data for a company/management decision. I also intend to further with Data Science recommended course like Phyton and machine learning. The experience has been wonderful.

Great Training

Training with Pairview has been one of the best decisions I have taken. The instructors are very patient and very engaging. The training gives you insight into the course while the assignment help learn how to self study and develop those skills. I gave 4star because there would always be room for improvement. Like someone said it would be nice to have the class recorded with the instructors voice for future references.

My Pairview Experience

I felt as though the training so far has been very thorough. We are given a lot of information and my specific teacher, Emeka, was very engaging and intuitive with us. I do feel like the 6/7 hours is a lot at once but I also think it's doable. I definitely think we're getting a lot out of it as candidates.

Good introduction into data science

I wish to pursue a career in data science and came across the training offered by Pairview. I have completed two courses so far: Advanced excel and SQL. Both courses introduced the topics very well and taught us very useful and interesting concepts. I look forward to the subsequent courses offered by Pairview.

THE COURSE LOAD IS VERY LARGE

THE COURSE LOAD IS VERY LARGE, ITS COMPRESSION IS FRIGHTENING. IF THERE IS CONSIDERATION FOR THOSE WHO HAVE
BEEN VERY LONG OUT OF REGULAR STUDIES IT WOULD BE MORE PRODUCTIVE VENTURE. 7 TO 8 HOURS IS A PRETTY LONG
TIME. BRAKING IT INTO 4 HOURS EACH DAY WOULD BE VERY PRODUCTIVE.

Machine Learning

I have delayed the feedback to give my self a chance of testing my gained knowledge on the assignment before getting to the
conclusion.
So, in terms of Barry delivering the course, it was executed pristinely.
Despite challenges from individuals with lack of basic IT skills Barry has managed time and impact on course dynamic very
well. There was no time wasting here, fast pace intense course well executed.
On the flip side of this, there is that filling of the hanger to hear more, learn more, have more time to practice, simply allowed to
slow down a little and have more insightfulness.
If you asking me if the course could have been delivered better, I don't think so, within the planned time and content not much
more could have been done.
I wish this course would have been planned for 6 days, not 4.
It's simply too much to fast to absorbed in comparison to 6 days of excel...
Do I think I have learned Python?
Of course not, but I fill strong that with invested time and research I can adopt the codes to my needs and put them into practice
which I believe was the objective of the program.
What would be really good its to have a 10 to 15 minutes one to one catch up with Barry to clean/tidy up and cement my new
knowledge.

A truly professional organisation

A truly professional organisation. At first i was very sceptical about Pairview as i had been contacted by them several times in the past but i always deleted the emails. This time around, i decided to read the email before deleting. The content was very interesting so i decided to speak to them for details. And so my journey started with the Data Sciences program. I must say i am impressed with the program as a whole. switching careers to Analytics within a very short space of time is truly remarkable.still in the program though as i have not started job hunting but i am really impress so far with what i have learned. I highly recommend to anyone who wishes to take a shortcut into computer sciences

Impressed.

Having heard of Pairview for a while before actually making the choice to use them to prepare for a career change to data analytics, I can confidently say that they have met my expectations.
The instructors are well versed in the knowledge of the subject and, more importantly, able to impart the knowledge. The virtual classes are very interactive and easy to follow.
I would recommend them for those looking to start a career in data science and analytics.

I fell in love with figures !

I love figures !! When I started with Pairview it was amazing as to how figures can speak a lot. I learnt a lot and I'm still learning. The most humble aspect of their tutors is; they make you realize that you should make research. As in, you ask a question, while there are answering you, they show you where and how to find out. Finally, they always Grant my request and plea.
I'm rounding off my program and I hope and pray it's the start of more joyful experience and greater things. I made the right choice !!
However, consultants/mentor should improve on "keeping in touch". It's embarrassing before or during payment they know your full name but after completion you have to keep reminding them issues discussed previously because they don't know you.

FROM THE VIEW OF THINGS ALL WENT WELL.IF YOU COULD MAINTAIN THIS PACE ,EVERYONE WILL DO WELL.NOW I AM VERY PROUD OF MYSELF DESPITE THE FACT THAT AT THE BEGINNING I HAD JUST BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE PACKAGE, NOW MY KNOWLEDGE HAS INCREASED VASTLY,THANK YOU.
IT WOULD BE WRONG IF I DONT BRING TO NOTICE THE EXPERTISE WITH WHICH OUR TRAINER DELIVERED THE COURSE.I BELIEVE EVERYONE LEFT VERY VERY SATISFIED.ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR OFFERING THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR CAREER DEVELOPMENT.

I Am glad I made a decision to start my Data Science journey with Pairview

At first I was skeptical about Pairview Training, I had a lot to loose if it went wrong, I went to one of their seminar and I was sure I could do this and be successful irrespective of where I was in my career journey. I am glad I did. It wasn’t easy at all, it required me to sacrifice my time, my money and be self motivated irrespective of all the negativity I heard. I decided to be positive where there were little hope- meaning at the same year I started with pairview I found out I was pregnant. I had spent so much of my time and money to quit. I was determined to push myself to achieve my goals. Pairview was so understanding, they were patient and gave me time to keep up with pace.

I started my data science training in 2016, I wasn’t offered python or R as it wasn’t part of the data science package at the time. So I was trained on SAS miner but by the time I completed my training and project experience in late 2017, SAS miner was no more the preferred Data science tool as there were other tools like Python and R so it was very difficult securing a Data Science job but nevertheless, this knowledge gave me an edge in the data analytics world. Now am moving from a reporting analyst to a Senior position, this could not have been possible without Pairveiw.

Food for thought
Don’t start something you cannot bring to fruition by yourself. It took me time, determination, hours of studies to keep up and networking and of course God to get me where I am today. It wasn’t easy, I needed the experience from Pairview and endorsement, I have qualifications that couldn’t get me my desired job due to lack of experience. I didn’t want another qualification or certification again. I wanted a company that I could learn from, gain experience and endorse my skills, this was why I started with Pairview.

It worked for me

I have, since 2017, wanted to acquire some of the data analysis skills. I bought books, paid for online courses. But never actually got to learn any of the skills. Then I stumbled across Pairview training program and I thought I would give it a go. In four months time, I had learned SQL, Python, Machine Learning, Tableau. I even learned things in Excel which I was not familiar with, although I had previously used Excel extensively in my work.

I think two things happened. One was the learning process in a class room setting where there were other students as well. Typically 6 or so, which meant that the learning process became a shared experience. The tutors made sure that each one of us had mastered concepts before moving on to the next topic. Those are things you do not really experience through self-learning tools. I think those are the reasons why I was able to learn these skills in such a short span of time. Credit goes to Pairview. No doubt about that. At the core of Pairview experience is the patience shown by the instructor/tutor in helping you gain the skill knowledge. The admin staff is great in helping you with your course related queries.
Upon the conclusion of the courses I felt satisfied at the new skills I had acquired. However the project experience (there are 2 projects you have to work on) was an even more challenging experience and a practical learning period. This is the time when you prepare yourself to be at par with the real-world skills that are required from you in an actual job. The guidance offered by the project instructor is excellent and you also learn from other students who are at different stages of their project completion.

At the end of the projects you are ready to face the interviews and do the technical tasks during the interviewing process. This phase is also supported by Pairview as they guide you through the CV surgery and recruitment guidance in form of weekly online sessions.

So there are many ingredients in this comprehensive program conducted by Pairview for people like me who want to switch careers or advance further.

Now a few suggestions for Pairview to make the training program better:
- Have a student/delegate relations person who proactively interacts with trainees/students. Most of the trainees are apprehensive about the choice they have just made, the time and money they have just committed to Pairview program. When they call in or email with queries, they need to be assured that they are being taken care of. The Trainee Relations person should be a go-to person for the trainees for all sorts of questions they have. The person should be available on phone, email, whatapp etc. The person should also be proactive in communicating with the trainees. Pairview encourages whatsapp groups among trainees. There should also be whatsapp groups created by Pairveiw for trainee relations where questions and answers happen.
- The datasets used during sql and machine learning can be more diverse and versatile. The data/database used during the project phase can be a more real world dataset.
- Some thoughts may be put in about how to properly position project period as work experience

Finally, as a concluding remark, I would add that although Pairview program is a workable and a successful program, the trainee most definitely needs to invest time and effort, and needs to keep up with the pace (which is not a rocket pace but fairly competitive pace). A good trainee and the training program offered by Pairveiw can achieve great things in my assessment. I concluded by job search 5 weeks after putting my CV in the market. I got a better than expected role. It is a fair assessment to say that I would not have been able to do so without Pairview.

So far I am enjoying the course

So far I am enjoying the course. I am doing the data science course and am only three months into it. I have to say I am learning a lot and the lecturers who I have had have been nothing but helpful. The only issue I have is the time it takes to reply to emails.
