Pensione Palazzo Ravizza in Siena
For us, this was the ideal place to stay in Siena. Our room was beautiful - spacious, clean and comfortable with a superb window view over the countryside of Tuscany. The hotel was well-run and in good condition, with a calm, cool interior that had the hallmarks of quality. All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, especially at Reception.
A key feature of the Palazzo Ravizza is its large, well-kept garden looking out over Tuscany, where guests can enjoy peace, tranquillity and birdsong at any time of day or evening. Breakfast fare was not extensive but most enjoyable because of its good quality. Drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced. This hotel was one of the highlights of our tour of Italy – a quiet, refined haven just a short walk from the cathedral and the amazing central square of Siena, a magical hill-top town of medieval character. It was a joy to stay at Pensione Palazzo Ravizza and we would not hesitate to book there again on a return to Siena. We highly recommend it to discerning travellers.
