Delivery due by 1700 on 28th, have just been told it won't arrive until at least 30th. No communication from Palletways, only vie merchant. Tracking woefully wrong. Apparently delayed because I haven't answered my landline to their calls - I don't have a landline, and have no calls missed or messages left on my mobile, the number the merchant has. No apology, or concern that I am not receiving the service I have paid for, or that they have made significant errors. So can't leave anything more than, or lower than a 1 star review. I would recommend avoiding this carrier.

Last 3 pallet deliveries, every time we get message about time slot driver never is in time and gets pushed back later and later in a day.
Today's 28th of January delivery have to pay staff member to sit and just wait pallet to arrive just because as business we close at 5pm and have informed about this on numerous occasions.
Very unprofessional if cannot cant deliver in designated time. Definitely will be avoiding using company.
16th January - first delivery time 09:05-11:05 then got changed to 10:18-12:18
20th January- first delivery time 09:22-11:22, then changed to 09:27-11:27 and then got changed to 10:36-12:36
28th January - first delivery time 14:31-16:31, then it got changed to 15:40-17:40 and then to 16:28-18:28

Avoid at all costs.
This was my second experience with Palletways and it was just as bad as the first. They cancelled on the day of delivery, then delivered the following day as the last stop. It was obvious my pallet had been left outside overnight at their depot.
All goods were destroyed – melamine cabinets saturated with water, bottom drawers soaked through, mirror cabinet and vanity units compromised. Even the cardboard boxes had disintegrated and the instruction manuals were completely soaked.
When I asked the driver to take the goods away, he refused and said HE had already signed them as delivered.
Completely unacceptable service. This company is the worst. Do not use.

I am writing to formally complain about the way my door delivery was handled.
The delivery driver left the doors on the sidewalk by the street, without any assistance or attempt to bring them inside the building. At the time of delivery, the only person present was a 65-year-old woman, who was alone and physically unable to move or secure such heavy items.
This behavior was extremely irresponsible and unsafe:
• it created a serious risk to the health and safety of an elderly person,
• it exposed the property to damage or theft,
• it shows a complete lack of professionalism and basic human decency.
A delivery service should be carried out in a safe and responsible manner, not by abandoning heavy goods on a public sidewalk.
I expect:
• a full explanation of this incident,
• information on what actions will be taken regarding the driver,
• appropriate compensation for the unacceptable level of service.
This standard of delivery is completely unacceptable.
Thank you for your response, but once again this is just empty words.
You wrote that the relevant depot would make contact, yet no one has called or emailed me. Not even a basic apology directly to me. This only confirms the poor level of customer service I originally described.
Saying “we will forward this” means nothing if no action follows. It has now been over a month since your reply, and I have still not been contacted by anyone from Palletways.
This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would appreciate an actual response and real action this time, not another generic message.

He was very pleasant. He had to struggle on his own to manoeuvre his pulley wheels around 2 cars to settle pallet perfectly.
