Shockingly bad firm.
A single guy turned up in a truck to deliver quite a heavy item. He refused to deliver it to my home, even with me helping him, he just left the item in the middle of the street and drove off. I had to enlist some neighbours to deliver to my home. This was the single worst experience I have ever had with a delivery and the guy, although he spoke next to no English, was the rudest delivery person I have ever encountered.
Avoid, Avoid, Avoid
This delivery company really do not care about reviews or have any customer service. They were due to make a delivery which was out of normal business hours (their choice) not ours but aborted the delivery an hour past the estimated time. They rearranged the delivery for the next day but aborted that stating they could not deliver in the location, utter rubbish. They even tried to post pictures of proof that they couldn't access the area but used pictures that were several years old from Google maps, some of the businesses in the picture do not exist. The lady I spoke to Andrea was rude and dismissive, simply couldn't give a damn. They have been reported back to the Complaint that used them initially so hopefully they will not use them again.
So far shocking.
So far shocking.
The tracking information did not have a delivery time window. The delivery should have arrive yesterday. I paid staff extra wages to stay until 630 as we close at 4.
The tracking information has still not been updated.
I managed to get through to them, and they said someone will call before delivery between 3 & 5. So I still may need to pay someone to stay again.
If you look at their website they boasts "Driving success through our dedication to achieving business excellence".
Just word salad.
Lets see if anything turns up today
Customer service non existent -DO NOT USE…
I ordered flooring through a bathroom company. They use Pall-Ex to carry out their deliveries unbeknown to me. I paid for the 'delivery service'. The driver arrived over an hour early, outside of the given window, luckily I was home, however when I opened the door, he was leaving. I called out and he said 'yeah, delivered you some flooring or something' Delivered was a strong word. Dumped in the road, on a a pallet was what it was, because there was no drop kerb nearby. When i asked how I was supposed to get this to my house as i couldn't leave it in the road he suggested i unpack it all and carry it individually, basically said it wasn't his problem. He was the rudest delivery person I have ever met, when I asked for his name so i could make a complaint, he refused to give it me. He then preceded to sit in his lorry and watch me unload the heavy flooring by myself. Absolutely disgusting. I will never use this company and in future will be checking who my deliveries are arriving with before placing an order. When i contacted the bathroom company to report it I was told, as they are 3rd party there is no comeback, so they don't care about offering good service because there is no repercussions for them.
poor delivery service now
we have 3-4 pallets delivered weekly and up until xmas all was going well, however last four weeks: wk 1 delivered day late, wk2: one delivered one day late, rest two days late; wk3 all on time; wk4 wrong labels applied and delivered to an address 35 miles away (!) meant we had to go and pick them up at our expense. what's going on,? systems all gone wrong :-(
Absolutely appalling delivery company
Absolutely appalling delivery company. I was due to be contacted 5th Jan to arrange delivery. Despite constant chasing it took until 26th Jan to get a call with delivery promised on 29th. Having stayed in all day to take delivery they simply failed to turn up. No contact no apologies
Avoid at all costs
Logistics as Performance Art
Ordered tiles from a business who use Pall-ex for shipping. Instead of a delivery, I was given a mystery.
The driver rang to confirm the tiles had been delivered. They hadn’t.
He later admitted he’d left them at the wrong house, promised to return, and then entered the witness protection programme.
After conducting our own search-and-rescue operation, we found the pallet dumped in another road altogether, abandoned on the street. Several boxes were visibly smashed. The delivery note helpfully advises you not to move damaged goods — an interesting policy when the goods haven’t actually been delivered and are slowly becoming a public art installation.
No signature. No correct address. Broken tiles. Courier vanished.
If you enjoy scavenger hunts, property damage, and existential questions about what “delivery” really means, this may be the courier for you.
Zero communication
Pall Ex were to deliver a shed that I purchased from a UK Shed supplier.
I was told that the courier would ring and arrange a suitable delivery date with me.
Yesterday morning at 8.27am I get an email to say that my shed would be delivered to the property I've not even moved into yet between 9.15 - 11.15!!!
So we had to abandon our plans for the day and rush to the new property to accept delivery.
Hopeless company!
No communication
So used to their hold music boasting about what a great delivery company they are yet i paid £70 for next day (8/1/26) admittedly through another company (Adexa) its now 16/1/26 delivery todays online tracker says 12-2.30pm it's now 5pm nothing!
No communications from them just me chasing, they cant speak to driver. I have staff being paid to sit and wait as our shops now closed, unknowing if it will arrive or not, so frustrating!
Worst delivery experience I’ve ever had.
Awful service!
Delivery arrived one day later than promised, and driver just dumped it on the edge of the road without even bothering to ring the doorbell or check it was the right address (even though it was £2,500 worth of goods on the pallet). Fortunately we spotted him as he was doing it, so we can get the goods before they’re stolen! I went out to ask if he could leave it on our driveway instead, but he point blank (and rudely) refused, and told us it was a company policy not to enter private property in any circumstances and that he’d loose his job if he did. I suggested that must be rubbish - an extra 30seconds on a driveway with a large turning circle couldn’t be that much of a problem but he just refused. I said I’d complain to the company - and he told me not to bother because it would just be ignored! I’ve never had such a bad service from a delivery driver!

Still waiting on a delivery that was supposed to arrive 2 days ago. Not even a phone call to apologise or update about this. Very disappointed with this poor service.
Awful service
Awful service.
I was at work for this delivery so my wife waited. They turned up without letting me know and knocked on the door. My wife answered and at this point the man had walked through my front garden and out my gate. He turned to my wife and said here’s your parcel which he also left out side the gate. My wife said how am I getting that into my front garden at least to which he shrugged his shoulders and walked off (for clarity my wife is 8 stone and the package was 70kg)
Wouldn’t recommend
Avoid this delivery company if you want to know when something is ACTUALLY arriving
The company didn't let us know when they would deliver. We phoned them to confirm a delivery date, they said they had called us (they hadn't) and we arranged for a Monday delivery. After being out all day on Friday, we arrived home to a huge delivery on our doorstep, which no one had signed for (this was nearly £1500 of goods). They also told us on the phone that the delivery driver would call us to let us know he was on his way, this also didn't happen. So, if you have a delivery coming by this company don't expect your delivery to come when you think, even if you call them to confirm!!
Awful Service – Nowhere Near a Professional Courier
My experience with Pall-Ex has been absolutely dreadful. I spoke to someone called Bruce, who was completely unhelpful and outright refused to assist. No effort, no accountability, and no interest in resolving the issue.
Pall-Ex’s standards are shockingly low. The fact that they work with companies like Adexa, who behave like scammers, says a lot about their own practices. Instead of protecting customers or ensuring proper delivery, they seem happy to distance themselves from responsibility.
This company is miles behind any respectable delivery service like DHL. Poor communication, poor attitude, and zero customer care. If this is what Pall-Ex considers acceptable service, then they seriously need to rethink how they operate.
I would not trust Pall-Ex with anything of value and would strongly advise others to avoid them.

Using Pall-ex via a third party but still using them on a daily basis and what a Shoddy company, deliveries not making it to end user, or days later, Apparently turning up late to customer and saying they arn't in when clearly they are.

A delivery company that publishes a contact phone number? That answers your call without a massive wait? That employs actual human beings to answer the phone?
How is this possible in 2025?
Thank you and well done!!!!!
Absolutely shoddy
Waited all day for a delivery no 2 hour time slot given the night before or even on the morning of delivery. Husband finally got a message which said loaded 12.45 he messaged it back they said delivery between 15:34 & 17:34 it is now 18:24 & no delivery no communication. Would give 0 stars if I could absolutely rubbish service
Excellent experience
Excellent experience. They were very helpful. They help me to carry the pallet to a sheltered space. Very professional and friendly.
Wouldn’t even give 1 star
Wouldn’t even give 1 star. Rudest man I’ve had displeasure to speak to from the beginning. Unhelpful, argumentative. Asking for his suggestions to help me a heavily pregnant person get tiles into a place which didn’t block path replied ‘I’m not paid to make suggestions’. No empathy nothing. Now breaking back trying to move them. i
