Bought an ice maker from Think Gizmo in February which has been excellent. Unfortunately my husband lost the small drain plug that sits under a cap which meant there was a small leak. I wrote to customer services to see if I could buy a replacement and they have sent me a replacement completely free of charge! Great machine and fabulous customer services, thank you.
Bought 3 photo frame clocks from UK ThinkGizmo, associated with Paramountzone, and though unused for 3 years when we went to open them recently NONE worked. We informed them and they wrote back saying the clocks are outside their guarantee period but not bothering to state what this period is! and not offering anything at all, no investigation, no partial refund, no credit note (not that I'd want any more to do with them!). The Sale of Goods Act states a 6 year period for faulty goods but as it also says that as we bought them before the law was changed it would be down to us to prove they were faulty for which we would need a report from some repair place (which would probably cost more than the goods) we are stuck. Not the sort of response you would expect from a reputable trader!!!
Reported a fault with my 18-month old iRoboVac. Paramount emailed me a free mailing label, I returned the Vac and a week later a brand new free replacement arrived. No quibbles, just fantastic service. Couldn't be more impressed.
