Generally hassle free experience with fantastic support from Parasol team. Onboarding was smooth and only minor frustration was third party ID check. Never contracted before and needed a convenient solution that did not involve setting up a company, employing an accountant, sorting out liability insurance, etc.

The onboarding process was clear and simple.

brilliant start to a new umbrella company, I have only been with parasol a few weeks but I am already impressed with the level of support and guidance I have received. Jodanna, Alysia, Abi and Georgia are the people I have had interactions with so far and they have all been fantastic, very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly The whole onboarding process has been very smooth and I am looking forward to working with the parasol team in the future. I’m a CW working through Parasol. I’ve had lots of questions recently regarding my pension arrangements. I was put in touch with Lorraine (Tench) who has been extremely helpful explaining my options and then helping me to make some adjustments. She has been very reliable (calling when she says she will etc.) and very patient with all my questions. I am very grateful for her help.

I had some queries and have a chat with Abi C. His support was fantastic. He has all the knowledge of what and why was reflected on my salary slip. All queries were handled professionally and I got all the replies I was looking for

Abi was really helpful in advising me on a contract extension for one of my assignments. Sorted it in just a few minutes.

Vicente was amazing, really clear with explaining everything and very helpful overall! He followed through with the emails he said he was going to send straight away and I felt comfortable with choosing Parasol as my umbrella company!

I had to call customer service today and spoke to Lewis. He was outstanding in his care and efficiency, ensuring my questions were listened to, and then ensuring that he checked to give me the answers. I’d definitely recommend Parasol.

I had emailed payroll about paternity leave, got a quick response from Prabhjot Kaur aith a nice message of congratulations which is really nice as dont feel like dads get to much congratulations these days but was really nice to read. i emailed back and recieved a quick response back. this makes all the difference when your stressed about getting all your ducks in a row as well as your day to day work. Super responsive i would definitely recommend Parasol as an umbrella and they are very efficent and easy to work with.

My only gripe are the parasol fees on the salary sacrifice pension payments introduced in the last year or so. This influenced my husband to on board with a different umbrella this month

Overall, the onboarding experience is very efficient. Their pension flexibility was one of the main reasons I chose to use them. Fees are standard/low for umbrella. Michelle M knowledge and helpfulness outstanding. I would recommend Parasol.
