An absolute con- purchased the pass- it…

An absolute con- purchased the pass- it did not register me first time, contacted them over 5 times before I travelled, no effort made by GoCity and I could not use the App to prebook. Once I had the physical Pass there was only 2 days for the museums (this wasn’t flagged at purchase for a 3 day ticket) you can only use the bus the day you purchase the trip (which means you have to go back to the office) the Eiffel Tower is totally misleading

Good value pass

Great value but you have to get your skates on to max it out. Preparation is key, so take time to plan all events. Many of the museums were free on Sunday, so dont waste your pass on that day. The bus was great but cold in November - wrap up!

We would just like another extension on our Paris Pass

My friend and I purchased 2 Paris Passes on Jan.26.2020. We have booked and had to cancel our trip 3 separate times because of Covid 19. I am so disappointed that we cannot reach anyone to help us. We just would like another extension on top of the 2 year one that was offered. I can't understand why it is so difficult to get a response. We have heard back and received refunds from other companies.

REFUND PLEASE

Ordered passes but did not manage to use them as they did not send me the digital passes since the physical collection points are currently closed. I need a refund but no one has gotten back to me in almost a week.
The pass may be convenient (if it works), but there is no interface to book each attraction on the ParisPass website itself. It brings you to the individual sites ticketing landing page. However, some of the landing pages do not work and there are no instructions on what to do. During this pandemic, pre-booking is required for most attractions as each location is only allowed a certain number of people per time slot so having to go to each site is nothing less than too time consuming. I’d rather go to the site and buy my tickets directly. I say: AVOID ParisPass like a plague (no pun intended).

I'm with the previous customer

I'm with the previous customer. I paid for two passes in November 19 and also paid the additional charge for the money back guarantee. My trip planned for April 2020 of course was cancelled, every other company has behaved honourably but this company just refuses to give a refund, nor can they tell me why the money back guarantee I paid for does not actually allow me to get any money back.

I have used passes for other cities before, and they can be very good, but it is when there is an issue you see how organisations treat their customers, and this company are the worst. Do not believe their claims of flexibility or refunds, the money back guarantee is no guarantee.

Pass on the Paris Pass

EDIT: So Paris Pass waits almost 3 years to give me a 3-year extension. I bought my tickets to your service that was never provided in February of 2020 as I have outlined repeatedly to you in emails. Further, at this point, we have no intention of traveling to France and have no need for your services in any city we visit.

I would like a full refund for services never provided-- you treat customers horribly and I wouldn't want to utilize any services you provide in the future regardless because of the way this was handled.

My advice to anyone reading this-- pass on the Paris Pass.

Original Review:
I was going to write up my own long winded review. We bought our Paris pass in February of 2020. They’ve been impossible to get ahold of and are truly the worst company we’ve dealt with during the pandemic. Even Air France returned our money. These guys suck.

All of the below review applies to my wife and my experiences.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They are the only travel company that has refused to refund our money due to the covid pandemic. We have no idea when it will be safe to travel again and they are only offering to extend the passes 1 year or to transfer them to another city. Over $600 down the drain. I also stated that I would be disputing the charges with my credit card company and was basically threatened that they would make sure I never received my refund through my credit card and they would fight it. I will be speaking out on every platform there about this company. They will reply with the same tired response as they have with everyone else. What a shady company.

Hi Carl,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Your feedback is important to us. We are terribly sorry that you have not been able to get in touch with anyone from our team, and would like to contact you directly.

We understand that the 2 year pass extension may not work for you, so we would like to offer you a voucher that you will be able to use within 3 years of the purchase date. This voucher works the same as a store credit. You will also have the opportunity to swap your Go City Paris Pass for a different city - perhaps your closest city. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this offer, and we will send the voucher to you. As we did not see your order or contact information in this review, we have sent you a separate message requesting this information.

Orrible service

On 12 July we purchased a four-day pass with shipping home within six working days for an extra 40 euros. On 20 july we have not yet received anything. This is outrageous, not only do you charge 40 euros to send an envelope in Europe for a total of 452 euros but you don't even respect delivery times.

Would have loved to use this as planned in early April, but we couldn't due to COVID-19. Now we don't know when or if we'll make it to Europe. This is the only merchant to not give us a refund.

NO COVID-19 refund

NO COVID-19 refund
It is nonsense!
I am very surprised by their handling about this pandemic situation. They responded to me saying no for a refund without any person's care. I purchased the Paris Pass in Feb 9 and it wasn't a serious virus situation in Paris at all even in the next month. I have no idea if I can use it next year. They should have refund in full! PLS CHANGE YOUR POLICY RIGHT AWAY

A waste of good money

A waste of good money. The Pass is basically smoke and mirrors in terms of value. Many if the attraction are scattered far and wide through out Paris. Some of the attractions could only be reached by car. A number of the Attractions were out of the transportation areas. We probably spent $100 per person (3) more than the actual value received.

The Paris Pass worked very well...until…

The Paris Pass worked very well...until our last day in Paris. Our metro cards were supposed to be valid for 3 days, but half-way through the third day, as we were in a metro station far from our hotel, both just just stopped working. We found an employee, and explained in French that the metro cards came with our Paris Pass and had stopped working. She helped us to bypass the turnstiles so that we could get on a train, but she would not give us new metro cards and seemed to know little to nothing about the Paris Pass. We took the metro to the restaurant where we had reservations that evening, and again our metro cards wouldn't work after dinner. It was a frustrating end to a long weekend in Paris.

Way too expensive

The collection of attractions is nice, but ,,,

The wax museum line, on a Tuesday no less, was well over an hour. The opera house tour was a very limited times. The price was way too high—yes, I suppose we could try to get our moneys worth by spending only the recommended itinerary 2 hours in the Louvre, but that would be nonsensical.

Several times it felt like an attraction was not really one at all, such as the “Wine Tasting at Les Caves du Louvre” which was really just a small wine shop with a wine cellar in a small alley. If you elect the free bottle of wine, it is not very good.

Do yourself a favor and save money and just buy the tickets for the attractions that you visit.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for taking the time to review The Paris Pass, we appreciate and take all feedback seriously. We're sorry to hear that you felt the pass didn't provide value for money for you.

From our records, you purchased a 6 day pass and did visit a number of attractions. We're sorry you had some issues at the wax museum and didn't enjoy the wine tasting. We've noted your feedback and will pass this on to the attractions / experiences.

We do advise that customers plan how they will use their pass. Many people purchase the 6 day Paris Pass for value for money, variety of attractions, flexibility and convenience. We're sorry you didn't feel you got these benefits.

Many thanks,

No Covid-19 refunds. Disgraceful

I purchased two 6 day passes on 1/21/20. Asked for refund due to Covid-19 pandemic. The only option is additional year to use. we have no idea if we will be able to schedule or afford a trip to Paris in the next 2 years. I cannot think of more poor treatment of customers.
