Waste of money basically

Waste of money basically. I wouldn't bother, if I were you.

I spent £15 booking the car park and keyed the address into my satnav. My satnav then took me to the Park and Ride, which is free and in one minute's walk of Hampden stadium.

I guess the ticket offered peace of mind, had I not found parking, but it was a waste of money.

Complete rip off

The website looked good, the confirmation email looked legitimate but I struggled to find it. I called and got a call back from a very helpful guy so i was confident I was in safe hands. When I arrived, what I got was a dodgy industrial estate with no parking spaces left! Granted, it was very close to Wembley stadium but when I got back to the car, I was blocked in by a guest at the Crystal's nightclub. Thank god for the superhero, total legend security guard at the club who found the other car owner really quickly and even physically pushed another car out of the way so I could get on my way home. For what I paid, it was a complete farce. Do not use - especially if you're a female travelling alone!

Absolute fiasco on the Sunday

Absolute fiasco on the Sunday after the Grand Prix, getting out of the bottom field took over 4 hrs. Yellow coated employees stood around talking between themselves with no direction given, ended up driving through a farm to get out in the end. Avoid these sites at all costs, luckily booked hotel in Banbury for the weekend but even then getting back just before midnight was not in the plan.

DO NOT USE!!

DO NOT USE!!
Horrendous. It’s not a 5 minute walk, it’s more like half an hr so that’s incorrect. We were stuck in the car park on race day for 4hours!!!!!!! The parking assistants did not have the situation under control, there was no explanation as to why we were at a standstill in the car park with no access to water, toilets or anything. When the traffic started to move excruciatingly slowly there was no one controlling the feeding in of traffic from our field (one of the many fields that have to all end up exiting the same entrance). This resulted in drivers becoming frustrated and arguments breaking out amongst some drivers. A dreadful experience, may be cheaper than some of the other car parks but it’s not worth a £1 of your money. Put a real downer on what had been a nice day to that point.

Do not trust this parking operator!

I first came across this company when searching for a place to park for the British F1 race at Silverstone in 2022. In years gone by I have parked elsewhere, but as they were fully booked this year, I decided to book Parkers Car Parks instead as it seemed like a reasonable price.

In hindsight this was a very poor decision! After the race on Sunday which finished around 17:30, it took me an hour to walk straight from the circuit to the car park, which is much longer than the 10-35 minutes they suggest on the website.

In addition to this, I was stuck in the car park for nearly 4 hours, which is the last thing you need after a long busy day at Silverstone. There were barely any staff members guiding the traffic out of the car park, and it did not feel very safe or secure either.

If you struggle with hay fever, asthma, or some kind of physical disability this car park would be very difficult to use.

Going forward I think more trained staff need to be guiding the traffic out of the car park at night. More facilities such as toilets are needed, and better information provided on the website regarding walking distance from the circuit and delays to getting out of the car park after the race.

Although Parkers Car Parks is not as expensive as other car parks, you are much better off paying the extra £10, £20, £30, etc to park somewhere else.

Advertised as a 5 minute walk to…

Advertised as a 5 minute walk to Silverstone depending upon your speed, well it took about an hour to the Gate where most of it was walking to/from our car in the 'car park'. Got to the car after the F1 race at 6:30pm, but couldn't move it until about 8:45pm. Where was anyone to assist for this time? The top gate in the field was opened for us, but it was like a 1.5 to 2 mile journey and took 1.5 hours to file out. Got onto a road at 10:15pm. Had a hayfever sufferer so couldn't open our windows or doors to stay cool. No facilities. Ruined the day. Wont be using them again.

One of the worst days of my life

One of the worst days of my life. It said it was a 15 min walk to Silverstone, it was 45 min. Got back to the car at 18:45. Was still sat in the same field at 22:15. No where to go toilet. It ruined what was one of the best days. AVOID, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, doesn't deserve any stars at all and should be stopped. Utter shambles

Shocking…

This was one of the worst experiences of parking. Nearly 4 hours to get out of a field. No staff. No organisation. People just left to find there way out. Absolutely shocking.

Four hours to get out

Absolutely shocking. Advertised as a 5-10 minute walk to Silverstone, erm 35 minutes more like. “Gated and secure” is how they advertise it; they’re known as fields by most people and they are not secure. Took four and a half hours to get out after the Grand Prix. Worst experience ever avoid at all cost.

Silverstone parking

Advertised as 5-15 minutes walk from silverstone but was more like 50 mins. The campsite is 5 mins away but the parking was right at the bottom and was a trek!

Spaces were in a field with lots of space between cars and also a fantastic exit route that cut out all of the silverstone traffic.

DO NOT USE AVOID AT ALL COST

Avoid at all cost… tried to get in touch using email, telephone and also messaging on theirs websites. No reply from any. Customer service is non existent and the links on their website for terms and conditions etc do not work. I will never use again and advise anyone looking for parking to not use either and find an alternative.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. I paid for ‘Secure, gated parking patrolled by trained staff’ near the Ethiad Stadium, instead, when I arrived, they had clearly oversold the spaces and were actually full. I was sent next door to an unbelievable fiasco. Cars parked so close together, basically down an alley, you couldn’t manoeuvre and still they tried to get more cars in. I’m amazed my car wasn’t damaged when I got back to it. No gates, no security, no proper parking spaces! Very stressful - definitely won’t use them again.

On looking at the website it says it is…

On looking at the website it says it is 5 minute walk to the stadium. This is not true. It is at least 15-20 minutes walk. We decided to not take our three year olds buggy to save boot space as we thought it was a short walk. Our three year old was exhausted by the time we got to the event and my other son who has hypermobility was very sore. If I knew it would have taken us that long to walk I wouldn't have bothered with Parkers Car Parks and I would have used the park & ride bus service. This is very misleading information and I will be contacting trading standards. So beware...don't bother parking with these in Cardiff to be close to the stadium, use the Park & Ride instead. Very disappointing!
