Mum and I recently visited Parks Omoda…

Mum and I recently visited Parks Omoda Jaecoo and had a fantastic experience. Aside from the Motability process, our salesperson, Lisa Keogh, was absolutely brilliant! She is incredibly knowledgeable and knew her products inside out. Lisa took the time to show us different models, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each based on our specific individual needs. Her guidance is exactly why we felt confident choosing the Jaecoo J7.
​Even during the wait for production and the Motability paperwork, Lisa kept in constant contact so we were never left in limbo. The car has been amazing so far, and we truly cannot thank Lisa and the rest of the team enough for all their hard work. Highly recommended!

Purchasing a new car

i have recently bought a new Yaris (3rd time I have bought a car from Parks (previously Border Toyota) Every time I have had excellent customer service. This time was my first automatic but everything was explained to me and Gordon was very helpful

Terrible company

Terrible company. I have phoned them four times to book my service and MOT, and each time I was told an advisor would call me back. Over the last month, no one has returned my call. I have a warranty with themselves and have to use their garage.

we purchased a bmw 1 series yesterday from parks bmw in edinburgh. it was a very pleasant experience the salesperson sophie and the sales manager were very efficient and we were very pleased with the whole experience. we would certainly deal with this garage again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID DISCOVERY 5 2023 AT ALL COST WORST CAR EVER this car has had issues since 4 weeks old 5 x replacement batteries, 7 x brake problems last one total brake failure, electrical issues, damp issues, belts replaced, tensioner replaced, 3 x oil changes, starter motor replace, warning lights on all the time, still not sorted out got car back after 6 weeks last time got car back with flat battery and health warnings,service warnings, remote still not working ,car updates still not working car been off road for over 14 months in total last time 6 weeks cant get rid of car because of issues nobody wants it dealer was going to take and 2 1/2 yr car with 3000 miles on it and send it to auction so they don't have to deal with it, called landrover numerous times still no responce waited at dealers for over 7 1/2 hrs to see branch manager over 2 days still not seen him despite landrover themselves organising manager to see me.
Over 67 phone calls to landrover, 23 audits to dealership, 7 landrover assist call outs, got car back with faults again on 23rd March now have to wait another 7 weeks before they can look at it so this time alone 13 weeks and no gaurentee this will resolve latest issues.all the time car losing value, wasting money on insurance,wasted money on incontrol apps as car off road ect. I've had many landrovers over the years nothing like this land rover keep saying go to dealership even though they know original dealership is no longer in business and new dealership not interested all they have done is run car out of warranty now saying car out of warranty this has been ongoing going since car was 4 weeks old how the mighty have fallen leave a loyal long term customer without a car, disabled customer, house bound use car for everything hospital, vets, doctors ect, they don't care only interested in selling cars no customer support whatsoever tried to be reasonable but nothing keep getting told nothing to do with landrover dealership has to deal with this nothing left but to escalate to ombudsman, trading standards and legal action. Only wanted them to sort this out and be reasonable to longterm customer for a car that's been faulty and had major issues since New anyone else out there had these issues with landrover started with town and county land rover all them years back, then Peter vardy now have to deal with latest travesty and non helpful PARK'S LANDROVER ABERDEEN. So save yourselves money,heartache, and total disappointment and avoid Landrover at your own pearl.not the institution it used to be nor the customer service it once was no wonder HM FORCES no longer using landrover's and out for competition let's hope they choose something that's good for our service personnel that's reliable and keeps them safe and takes them home in one peace
LOOK AFTER CUSTOMERS HAVE SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE DON'T JUST CONCENTRATE ON SALES AND PROFIT

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience buying a Jaecoo 7 from this dealership, especially after choosing this branch based on their recent good reviews. I agreed a deal including £2,350 part exchange for my car, £2,000 cashback and monthly payments around £365 (higher only due to extra mileage). I accepted their part exchange price despite higher offers elsewhere because they discounted the new vehicle as part of the deal. After paying a deposit, my finance was declined, the agreement was redone in my mum’s name and we were told the terms were the same. We later discovered major changes, including reduced cashback, much higher monthly payments and only £1,000 paid to us for the part exchange. This was completed while we were dealing with a family bereavement, which they knew about, and we were pressured to sign quickly. The changes were not explained at any point. The handover was also poorly handled — no advice about insurance as the plates were new therefore not showing online and it was too late to call providers. No drive-away cover was provided, meaning I had to arrange and pay another additional sum for temporary insurance just to get the car home that evening after handing my car over to them. When raising concerns, the dealership took no responsibility or offered a resolution. I also had to chase the dealership repeatedly for responses and clarification, with very little communication or support provided. Overall the experience lacked transparency and has caused significant stress. Parks responded to our initial review on google asking to get in touch and yet again had no response from the company

My experience with this garage has been…

My experience with this garage has been extremely frustrating. Since purchasing a car last week, I have been waiting for the service record and the fuel payment that were promised at the point of sale. The car was also delivered late to another branch closer after I had already travelled a long distance to collect it. Communication has been inconsistent, and I’ve had to follow up multiple times with no response. I was told the vehicle had a service record and MOT, yet neither has been supplied. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Parks based on this experience.

Shambles

Shambles!
Review of Parks Glasgow Jaguar ( old Taggarts)
I was so hopeful and pleasantly surprised when driving past the Jaguar dealership at Hillington that Taggarts had gone! Taggarts had a local reputation and I myself had so many problems with them so hurray they had gone.

However, on ringing for two days to try and book my car in the phone is rarely answered when it is it’s answered and the phone put down or just put on hold ……

Do I have the creeping suspicion this place has changed in name only ?

Day three and still not spoken to anyone …. Utterly shambles

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs - and I didn’t even get past reception!
I booked my car in for an appointment 6 weeks in advance and had an appointment email reminder sent out 2 days prior.
When I arrived at the garage, no booking was found on their system. They put this down to an IT ‘glitch’.
After speaking with a manager, they could not offer an explanation into what went wrong, and all I was left with was “sorry. When can we rearrange your appointment for?”.
To say I was frustrated is an understatement.
I have left the issue with Parks and expect to be contacted with a full explanation on the issue, what went wrong and how they are going to go about rectifying it.
One thing I do know, is I will be taking my vehicle to a garage under different ownership going forward.

Very poor repair service

Freelander 2 was with Parks Land Rover Aberdeen to fix a fault, the car was returned to me with the fault not sorted after eight weeks!
I took it to a local non land rover garage who diagnosed the fault in one day and fixed it the next
The prices Parks charge are astronomical and I don't see how they can be justified
Stay well clear

Wrongly advised on a Nox sensor that I…

Wrongly advised on a Nox sensor that I needed for my Navara. Told that the front sensor was a rear sensor, which it wasn't. I had to return and buy the correct sensor which they told me was the wrong one.
Went back with the first sensor I was wrongly advised to purchase, they would not take it back because it had been fitted to my truck. Make sure to double check any parts that you are going to purchase, I was wrong advised and £273 out of pocket for a sensor I do not need.

major service not carried out properly.

Firstly booked a major service through Nissan UK nearest dealer Parks EK, when i collected the car I noticed on my invoice two service items had not been done i pointed this out, they said they would speak to the service manager and would give me a call, no so i called them after numerous attempted to speak to someone in the end i contacted Nissan UK and explained what was wrong and i held them responsible for the service not being carried out in accordance with their service schedule, booked back in to complete the service again still not done in accordance to the schedule it was booked in for a third time, finally work completed in accordance with service schedule, HOW MANY HAVE BOOKED A MAJOR SERVICE AND ONLY HAD THE MINOR SERVICE DONE, vehicle now booked in for warranty work and is even worse service than the previous experience.

Best service by far

This is the 4th car I’ve bought from Parks, Arbroath and can honestly say they go above and beyond to make the customer experience enjoyable and hassle free. George and Shannon helped in every way to get me the car that I wanted. I am so happy with my new car and the journey to get there was simple and sometimes fun. Will definitely be going back there in the future.

Fantastic service

Jordan was super helpful and knowledgeable when buying my new Dacia Sandero stepway extreme.
He made the whole experience a pleasure buying a new car instead of a headache. I would definitely recommend Jordan and park's at East Kilbride to anyone looking to buy a new or used car

Insulting trade in price!

I was interested in the new electric Renault 5. Went for a test drive at Parks East Kilbride and then sat down with the sales person to look at figures. I explained my budget and that I was interested in leasing. He kept trying to push PCP and gave me a price £50 above my monthly budget. Kept saying hus manager says that Leasing isn't a good option as it's difficult to get a leased car serviced??? Also offered me an insulting price for my car that I was trading in.
Sold my car on Carwow for £1500 more and got a brilliant lease deal online within my budget.
I understand that dealerships need to make money, but I feel like they were trying to rip me off. Definitely pays to shop around.

We went into Parks Omoda Motherwell to arrange a New Motability Car. The Staff were very helpful in helping us arrange New Car and Test Drive on Vehicle.
Kirsty , Young Alex and Sales Manager were exemplary and a Credit to Parks.
We would highly recommend this Dealership. Look forward to picking up New Vehicle in April 👌👍
