I am keeping on using this tool and it is great

Messed up a >600GB NTFS partition. I was only trying to shrink it and everything apparantly went fine but most directories and basically all the files were lost. Seems most files are recovereble using their recovery software but thats paid... Seems sketchy. Anyway Recuva seems to also be able to recover them

Years ago I found this consistently reliable for resizing OS partitions.

Now I find that it either trashes the partition it's resizing, or it fails to resize it with no error message, or error log that I can find. (It might flash an error message briefly but I've not managed to catch it doing so).

NB: This review applies to resizing OS partitions during boot. Resizing non-OS partitions whilst booted continues to work for me.

Great tool with good options for the free version

Trashed my drive when resizing an exFAT partition and could not recover files that a competitor application was. They're now arguing against the refund that the promise without my scanning the disk again and sending a screenshot of the problem but they're struggling to understand that I've already recovered most of my data with a different tool and the disk is already in use so I cannot simply re-run the scan. Stay well clear!!

I installed the free version of MiniTool partition wizard to repartition my dad but while installing the software it installed WebDiscover and corrupted a .DLL file on my system. Stay away from this program!

Bought a licence for partition wizard to data recover from a partition, after trying to complete the task was then informed again that I needed a different licence, when trying to receive a money back guarantee... they refused stating I should have known... stay well away, I will now continue through other means.

unfortunately, your order # and license are not enough for this company to provide you with a URL to download discontinued versions.

effectively, they see nothing wrong with outright denying you access to the thing you purchased from them.

the free version is lacking much needed professional features and unacceptable as a replacement, but I can no longer endorse this product.

I bought a Minitool Partition Wizard Pro 10 license 2 years ago for nearly 40 dollars and I thought it good software.. ( i even posted a good review for it). Unfortunately my view is NOT extended to the company itself now...My complaint is that after re-installing windows on my PC, I find its now IMPOSSIBLE to reinstall the Partition wizard software because of their stupid policy of disabling the original download link in your purchase email. (I had a disk failure so lost my archived installer).
You simply CANNOT find the v10 pro version installer anywhere online (unless you want to pick up a few nasty trojans). Minitools now sell version 11, but of course the v10 serial number is invalid for 11.5 (its actually also invalid for any other earlier version too), and they have no download links on their web page for those of us who want to use the earlier versions we paid them good money for.

I`m left with a serial number and license that I`ve paid for but cannot possibly use. If I want to use the software, I have to buy it again.

It stinks.

I won`t be purchasing anything from them in future, thats for damned sure.

Edit:- After a lot of searching, I discovered a copy of the installer hidden deep within a very old backup archive but....
after installing it again, it now starts up with a naggging popup asking me to update.

The pop up cannot be turned off.

If you DO hit "update", what they don`t tell you is that your pro features stop working unless you buy a new license for the updated software.
and unless you have the installer, you can`t go back.
And as I`ve mentioned, its impossible to obtain that installer unless you`ve kept a copy yourself.

First time, I downloaded the Trial version to solve the problem of resizing partition. It is very practical. From then, I continued to use this software for over two years. It helps a lot.

I have only used the free version so far, and have been truly impressed. I don't know much about computers, other than having build my own PC - but MPW has made it really really easy to work with my different hard-drives, and I am likely to purchase the full version in a few days, as I need to try to recover data from a collapsed drive (full data-recovery is an option only available in the paid version). Obviously I don't know if the paid version is going to help me, but I have spent many hours using the free version, so even if the data-recovery is going to fail, this is still more than a fair trade. Certainly would recommend, especially if you - like me - aren't a professional.

I f*cked some space up. Was unallocated for days after that. Bought this program and there was a lot of unallocated space. Could not figure out how to get it back. I decided to ask the support and damm they are fast. Not like 2 days something. They are ready to reply in a few min. After a little time i find out how to get the space back. The support helped me every step of the way. Thank you for a great service! i was about to give up on my harddrive so thank you from the bottom of my hard <3
