We flew from Toronto to London then Dubai. And didn’t realise we would face issues in the London - Dubai leg. Which was then worsened by corona. But we were in safe hands. Sophie knew everything and did everything. She made plans and back up plans. She was constantly in communication with us and made us feel at ease. She was readily available round the clock and worked seemingly tirelessly so. We’re so grateful to finally have our dog with us in Dubai and want to express our huge gratitude to Sophie who definitely went above and beyond her call of duty. Thanks!

Good stuff to know love it

I cannot speak highly enough about PBS Pet Travel and, especially, about Emelye. When my family needed to relocate back to the US within a week (thanks, coronavirus), we were concerned about our ability to get our little Westie booked on a flight - our dog is a member of our family, after all, so we all had to be on the same flight. I contacted PBS, as we had used them years before when we moved from the US to the U.K. I had the good fortune that Emelye answered the phone, she was so unbelievably helpful. Emelye jumped in right away and was able to book our Westie the following week - other companies we contacted said the sooner they could book us was 2-3 weeks in advance! Emelye kept us informed of the whole process and was so patient with me when I would email and call her daily to confirm we were still okay to flight. On our date of departure, we met Tony at the animal Center and he took our little dog with him. Tony was also so great - our Westie was calm around him which gave us huge peace of mind. Tony texted me later to let me know that our dog was checked in and reassured us that she was calm and doing well. Thank you for everything, PBS, Emelye, and Tony!!!!!!!!

Emelye from PBS handled my cat's transport from London to HK amidst the coronavrius outbreak- a situation where our cat's flights were cancelled twice, vets were not operating as usual, and other services such as postal and road transport were also disrupted. Emelye was extremely responsible and helpful through the difficult situation, and helped us be reunited with our cat as soon as possible. Her communication was prompt and she helped us problem solve again and again. Thank you and good job PBS!

I used PBS to help me clear UK customs when I brought my Labrador Retriever into UK from US in early 2018, and was quick to call them again when we departed UK in March 2020. Under the difficult conditions of the mounting Covid-19 pandemic, they were incredibly responsive, helpful, and efficient in booking transport back to the US and taking care of all paperwork and logistics in the the UK (including coordination with our US pet clearance team). The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, professional and really easy to work with. I would recommend them highly and without reservation for anyone needing assistance bringing pets in and out of UK.

PBS did an OUTSTANDING job during a very stressful universal travel situation. With airline flights cancelled, restarted and cancelled again during the COVID-19 crisis, Emelye Bunny at PBS was amazing! She kept us updated through all the changes and helped us keep a positive attitude when flights were cancelled and things looked dismal. She walked us through the paperwork and kept us informed through all the stages of our puppies flight. ‘Louie’ was able to ‘cross the pond’ to America from London. Thank you PBS! Will recommend you to all!

This is the second time I used PBS's service. I have requested quotation from a few agencies; some are more expensive, some simply did not reply. Sophie is amazing; she is very efficient, patient and professional in giving advice regarding kennel size. She is also very understanding and strives to provide customer-oriented services when I needed to keep changing departure dates due to unforeseen circumstances. The whole process from enquiry to follow up is very smooth and stress-free. I probably will relocate again in the near future and will definitely use PBS again.

There aren’t enough stars to rate how wonderful PBS is. I found PBS after having my first and worst experience shipping a puppy internationally through another agency. Prior to PBS my puppies travel was set back by more than three weeks due to the lack of knowledge of requirements and documents needed. As soon as I contacted PBS, Sophie jumped right in and contacted me immediately with her assistance. She was very efficient and thorough in booking a flight within 5 days, securing all the proper documentation required, answering all my questions and advising me of any concerns. Beyond that, she informed me when my puppy departed and followed up when he landed safely. PBS is very professional and ensures your pets travel process is smooth and efficient. Will definitely work with them again if needed and avoid all mishaps again.

Excellent response time, high attention to detail across the entire process, friendly staff..

Very patient, friendly and willing to answer every single question - even if asked several times! In what felt like a very confusing process, the team was very helpful - and most importantly, our puppy made it to his final destination safe and sound!

PBS Travel made the one way trip with my dog very easy. They were prompt, efficient and the entire experience went smoothly. Hopefully will never have to fly my dog again, but if I do, would certainly use PBS

I've deliberated over this because there was a hiccup and a couple of minor irritations along the way. I'll try and detail those so people can make their own minds up.

First of all and absolutely the most important. Our dog got home in good condition and still wagging his tail. Secondly, all emails were answered promptly. With all of that in mind, I'd use PBS again so it's hard to give them much less than five stars in that respect.

But....

What impressed me initially was that they took my overseas agents' paperwork and checked locally and came back with feedback. As a result, we were able to locate a problem that would have caused delays later.

I get the impression PBS is a well "legalled" company. So, for example, a straight question often seems to meet with a pasted link. They don't tell you what step to take next, they send you the feedback they received. Obviously, they understand it but you have to work it out for yourself. I imagine this is so they avoid being accused of ever being wrong. They'll facilitate your decision making but they won't really advise you. Answers occasionally feel a bit cryptic

So once our dog arrived in the UK, having been assured that paperwork was checked and in order, we were told that a problem had been raised and we needed more paperwork and a further £86 pounds had to be paid immediately. It was hard not to feel like our pet was being held to ransom.

As ever PBS wanted money paid upfront before they do anything. I guess they know this can be a messy business and they don't want to hand over the dog then have to chase cash.

Anyway, the dog arrived (only a couple of hours late) and all are happy. Once the dust had settled I raised the extra charge with PBS who reminded me they "can't be held responsible for any errors". That legal thing again.

So, on balance, it's a smart business that probably works in a very difficult world with very unsympathetic customs people. They get the job done and they watch their own backs while they're doing it. Ultimately you'll probably have to watch your own too.

Oddly this efficiency kinda makes me trust them even more. They're professionals.

Fantastic service from PBS from start to finish. Our move was especially stressful and got pushed back from the original travel date - PBS were incredible throughout, nothing was too much trouble. I needed a lot of hand holding thru the process having not relocated a pet before - again Emelye at the team were excellent & I never once felt that my questions were silly and always my queries were answered in a timely manner etc etc... I would not hesitate to use PBS, I looked at other couriers for our four legged family member but feel PBS are in a league of their own - truly excellent! Thank you team!

Cannot thank the staff at ptg enough they transported our pride and joy back from north Italy Torino back to Hove, without any problems always answered our calls just so we knew where our dog was, and how she is doing. My dog arrived safe, warm and happy. I was more worried about my dog than I was the rest of my family and because she spends so much time with me and isn’t even left alone I worried myself silly. I won’t worry when we move back to the UK

Shipping our two cats to the USA was always going to be a stressful experience and we spoke to several pet shipping firms in advance of travel. PBS seemed to understand the anxieties in this from the start and were very reassuring and responsive throughout the process. In particular the provision of a custom made double travel crate was a great innovation. We particularly appreciated Emelye’s understanding and flexibility over booking arrangements and Tony’s communications and are now happily settled into their new home and are keen to meet a Chipmunk.

I have used these guys a few times bringing my new puppies in to Bermuda. They were great!
