Steer clear of this fraudster!

Murad Qureshi / PC Direct UK (eBay pc_direct_online) is a fraudster and customers should steer well clear of him and his shop in Stockport.

In late July 2021 he bought some memory from me on eBay for £20 and asked for it to be sent to his client directly. After only a few days he raised a claim on eBay that it hadn't been received, and with eBay's buyer protection programme they quickly decided that he should be refunded, which I immediately did. Something was off about this though, so I decided to write a letter to his client directly to find out if the memory was received. She confirmed it was, and not only that he had charged her £74.33 for the memory - quite a markup! So PC Direct UK made almost £100 out of this little transaction by overcharging his client and stealing from me - I am still out of pocket both memory and money.

I have raised this with Action Fraud UK as well as Trading Standards, and there is an ongoing eBay case against him.

Please do not do business with Murad Qureshi / PC Direct UK - best case is he will massively overcharge you and worst case is he will defraud you.

Always there to help.

Dave has always taken the time to explain what he is going to do, how he will fix the problem and what to do to avoid future problems. He has always been straight forward and honest with me. A very reliable guy to go to with any computer problem.

Item Delivered Was Not Correct Spec

I ordered a panasonic portable blu-ray and it stated it was multi regional for DVDs by a mod at pcdirect. Wnen unit arrived it was not multi regional and upon phoning company I had to explain what mlti regional actually meant!!
Eventually spoke to a man who knew the problem and unit was picked up by dispatch company and delivered back with mod added. I am satisfied with product but not by company who take a good 2 weeks to sort the problem out.

Unhelpful, ripping off ignorant company

I orderd a 46inch samsung 3d led tv, they refused to include the 'free' shrek 3d offer. They actually charged me nearly £100 for the "free" pack and then when the pack arrived only one pair of 3d glasses came(when buying an led tv the free pack includes 2 pairs). I sent several emails to them asking where my 3d glasses Wher, they ignored all my emails and I have not heard from them since apart from a letter pestering me to take a warranty out with them. This sort of customer service is disgusting and unacceptable for a customer who has spent close to £1500. AVOID!! There are much better company's out ther
