Highly recommend

Here's a review for your experience:

"I ordered a laptop from Pcdirectuk.com and was extremely impressed. It was delivered the very next day, which was faster than I expected. The laptop is a great deal for the price — a real bargain! Highly recommend this site for quick delivery and good deals."

Sold me a “256GB” card that only stored ~55GB

I ordered a Kingston 256GB MicroSD card from PC Direct UK. The card turned out not to be as described. After repeated file corruption issues, I ran an F3 write/read verification test, which showed only 55.36GB of data could be reliably stored, with 43.52GB corrupted/lost in a 100GB test.

This is consistent with a faulty, or more likely a misreported-capacity card, likely around 64GB rather than 256GB. I contacted the seller with the evidence, but they refused to cover return postage for the faulty/not-as-described item.

I’ve now had to open a PayPal dispute. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t buy storage media from this retailer again.

Your wasting your money on this business.

They sent me a power supply that was not the spec I purchased & and then when I called, they said I had to bear the brunt of the return post. They are a bunch of people who have no idea how to do business. I build PCs for a living..and these are not to be trusted. I have not received the needed power supply, and they are just messing me around. These people should not be in business..

Poor service

I purchased a charger which specifically needed to be 15v output. The charger was described as 15v on the website so I purchased it. When delivered, it turned out to be 12v.

I contacted them to let them know the wrong item was sent only to be told there was a mistake in the product description. They said to open a returns case in my account and that "Unfortunately customer has to bear the return postage."

I am not willing to pay to return a product which I did not order, I have offered them the chance to replace it with the item I purchased, collect the item for a refund or offer a free returns method. Unfortunately after this last email they did not respond so I have sent formal notification and given them 7 days to respond otherwise I will have open a papal case.

I am not happy it has to come this far but as an online seller myself, I do not expect customers to pay for a mistake done by the company.

CHECK EXPIRY DATES!

I ordered some computer ink from this lot. The order took two weeks to arrive and when it did I could not believe the expiry date on the box, MARCH 2014!! SEVEN YEARS old. I immediately e-mailed them asking for a product that was in date or instructions as how to return the item. I received a telephone call from a man who insisted the cartridge would work ok and that he had never had a complaint before. I informed him I had checked with HP and they say ink can last up to two years after expiry. Even my printer would have rejected it. He eventually said I could return the product by following the instructions on their website. As I had checked out as a guest this was not possible. I tried 'phoning on several occasions without success, sent two further e-mails, no response. I then contacted PayPal who were very helpful and we came to a credit arrangement which was not the full amount that I had paid but brought an end to the matter. I will never use Pcdirectuk.com again, they are unscrupulous. BEWARE!

This retailer is a joke

This retailer is a joke. They advertised an item and when purchased kept cancelling order without any information. When checking on their website they had increased the price. No reason provided as to why the cancellation just order cancelled, no communication at all.

What a waste of space these clowns …

What a waste of space these clowns are!!
Bought 2 WiFi aerials and was only sent 1. No emails explaining what they had done. Contacted them a week later to get a blunt email back saying only sent 1, other is on back order. Contacted them a week later and received another single line blunt email saying we have refunded your money. Great customer communication - NOT!! Granted they are pretty cheap but you do get what you pay for.
