Usually love this shop,but staff were more worried about moving stock around not welcoming customers.Clothes are expensive which I don’t mind if something a bit different ,but I thought it was a bit boring today
Interesting to see the other reviews here as the Google reviews are more positive. Extremely rude and abrupt woman with zero customer service skills. Did not purchase gift voucher as intended and won’t be using the shop in the future!
Still grumpy and rude
Like the customers below I find the woman in charge of this shop so rude that I don’t shop there. Had to go in last week as unfortunately a friend bought me a Christmas gift and I wanted to change it.
Have they changed, no. Still as rude and grumpy as ever with a sense of entitlement that overwhelms even for Topsham!
The customer service at this shop is appalling , the owner is rude and has no respect at all for loyalty . He was rude to both myself & my mother after trying to return a Christmas gift with receipt and labels. My mother is 80 years old and it took me some time to comfort her after her experience . I will never shop here again & will recommend to friends & family to take their loyalty elsewhere .
What a wonderful shop this is, like an Aladdins cave, full of interesting gifts etc. Until you meet the owner who is the most unfriendly and unhelpful person. My husband and I went to over to Topsham for him to buy me a suprise Xmas present when he had sprained his ankle and could hardly walk. I recommended Pea and Mint for his purchase as it had some lovely ideas. I tried to explain to the owner what we wanted to do and I hoped if I pointed out what I liked she would help him when he hobbled in after I left. She was not interested at all, so I sent him photos on his phone.
On Xmas morning he really had bought a selection of items from Pea and Mint and I was dleighted even though he said she was quite happy to exchange anything that wasn't right.
So I went into the shop this week with a necklace in its original packaging and was shocked to find she wouldn't change it or swap it for another as it was too small for me. She said that exchanges only took place the first week after xmas.
