Stranger Things

Stranger Things - Madrid april 2026. Horrible organisation. The main impression was terrible. Little to no content on site except the expensive extras. A big empty hall with everlong lines to any of the stands. There were NO information points. Little to no information on their web site. We had to ask randomly any people that SEEMED to be a part of the organisation of the event. Upon asking we only found 1 (one!!) person that talked English. No one talked Spanish(!!) only french.

Incredible. What a deception.

Even after having bought the expensive extras it was nowhere clear what was included or not. We bought a meet and greet thinking we would then get the photo opp and autograph opportunity in one. That was not the case. It included a 20 min talk in group with 20 people. A photo in group, and the photo was not exclusive given to any of us!!! We were to look for it on the website. Just beyond not worth the money spent and it has to be a clear violation of GDPR rules in the EU that the photo just was to be published like that. To this date we still do not have the photo. We have complained directly to the organisers but so far no response after 6 days. We are left with an impression of being scammed. Shameful.

In addition there were awful organisation of any cues to the extras. A complete caos where to go and when. People shouting - to announce “last call to …” in a big chaotic hall with a lot of people.

This was one of the worst events I have ever been to. Will NOT recommend it.

I have been to the Stranger Things Fan…

I have been to the Stranger Things Fan Meet up with my son the 5th of Abril.
It was a disaster... For the sake of the actors, I feel ashamed over the bad organisation. I actually do not understand how this "company" has been able and capable, and chosen to bringing such big stars all the way to Spain. I only hope they felt well treated!!
We as guest definitely didn't!
The information was poor from the beginning. I had to send email as did not find information about accompanying a minor to the event.
And did not get answered to my questions. The risk was taken and as we entered to the event hall of Ifema, I could not believe my eyes.
There was a mediocre, hardly existing decoration, that even me myself could have done better at home. There were only few stands and sets for taking pictures, which made the fact of queuing the only day activity there was.
The staff seemed to be more lost at some parts then us visitors and the timetables where changed and rescheduled at the moment, and when asking for info, the humor of the staff was lacking all the kindness and willingness to attend you... there was no F&B available, such as food trucks or anything alike, only one steady restaurant, that did not make us feel anywhere close to Hawkins besides of the ridiculous decor... there was no screens for the visitor pass owners to see and hear they favourite actors keeping the panels. The children who had been waiting for seeing their idols for moths, or us adults paying a great deal of money, where not been paid back at all. Once we got to our extras; pictures and autograph, the staff where not very gentle there either, making us feel more like prisoners been fast moved from place to another... I understand it can be stressful, but some smiles and kind words from the staff would also help themself to keep it up a bit better, not talking about the children who were stresses and nervous as there was no tomorrow... oh dear the list would be longer, but I'm trying to finish up by saying that the STARS themselves where great and that's what we bare to our hearts.
