Industrial accident claim.
As all solicitors, ridiculously expensive.
Very slow response time when time critical claim, tho they did get extension. Days waiting for responses and very few updates. Willing and pushing to take first offer when the counter claim is proven as utter bs and or irrelevant.
Definitely would not use again.

So far is bad..I'm sorry I did not check reviews, they are so slow, 2 weeks since the property search came back and he still did not act on them. Trapped in the buying system..crap conveyancing company, Malcolm Robinson is our conveyor

Never use this firm if you want to sell a property. They’ll cost you more money, sales will fall through and they’ll play pass the parcel with you.

what went right? nothing!

If I'd just used this firm for some basic conveyancing, I'd perhaps have given them three stars: not impressive, but they got the job done. But a request for some add-on advice (charged additionally) revealed truly appalling ignorance of the most basic legal concepts, to an extent that relying on the 'advice' could actually have led to positively adverse consequences. Even after the customer satisfaction officer (ha!) got in touch, I was assigned a different paralegal who, for example, couldn't be bothered to spell-check documents before sending them out. Requests to do so were rebuffed, but he did graciously say he'd correct any errors I pointed out: the absence of pride in doing a good job – from almost everyone I spoke to from a senior partner downwards – was palpable; I continually felt it was more a matter of what the client might be stupid enough to put up with.

Appalling service would never use again take your money and then expect you to chase them every step of the way they do not keep in touch leave you on hold on the phone for ages, cannot speak to the relevant person so have to leave a message to ring or email you back which they NEVER did. Had to put in a complaint of which I was told more or less tough to my complaint.

avoid clients are merely cash cows to this firm.they ignore your phone calls and emails.totally ignore clients instructions and go their own way.

Negligent in handling documents/communication. No proper system of information management. Unresponsive.

I wish I'd read the reviews here and on Glassdoor which suggest a toxic working environment. Avoid at all costs.

Contacted them about Free Wills Scheme.
Sent me a form to complete and asked me for dates/times I was available.
Spent time completing form and checking diary. Sent back.
Then they inform me all appointments full for the Free Wills scheme. Presumably they had a pretty small number.

Same as over reviews on here! Chasing money I don’t owe!
I paid over 8k in legal fees! Case closed. Then they are now Trying to chase me for MORE legal FEES! (After the case closed) Which I don’t owe and trying to take me to court ! I and my family paid a fortune in fees during the case! And we didn’t even get anywhere after a full year almost in court! Money WASTED! Would never ever ever use again. They pretended they were working for you and friendly. Yet there not there just money grabbing and have zero customer service. You’re just money to them. I’m furious! They even tried sending a letter to my place of work! (An address they were never given) Where anyone could open it! Not even a home address! Highly avoid!

I used this company and they were totally un-professional. They assigned multiple members of staff to my case so I had no idea who was up to speed with the facts. I asked for an important document to be drafted which was never received and finally they could find a solicitor to represent me on the case in court keaving me ip the creek without a paddle . Months later they started claiming I owed them more money despite the fact another firm had taken on the case and made Pepperells look like complete amateurs. This money they claim I owed was for the document that was never even provided. AVOID at all costs .

Joe is extremely professional and his style is incredibly proactive, efficient and clear. The service Joe provided was exemplary throughout. From start to finish, communication was excellent. We always received prompt replies to any emails and telephone queries that we had. Joe is the best by far 😊.

Great service, start to finish. Constantly kept in the loop right the way through the process, gave them a deadline we'd prefer to complete a remortgage and Kim Elliott pushed on through and met it a week earlier - actually saved a months mortgage payment!

Would recommend these guys, and use ourselves again in the future.

John Taylor is exceptional!
He acted for me and my partner with the purchase of our first house. He kept us updated throughout and explained everything in detail. He is thorough, very friendly and extremely professional. We cannot thank him enough! We were able to complete our initial forms electronically meaning we didn’t have to go into the office which is so convenient as we work full time 9-5. We received frequent calls and emails with updates and confirmation of the next steps.
We will be recommending John and Pepperells to all our friends and family for conveyancing transactions.

Worst company in the world I paid for…
Worst company in the world I paid for something I never received the solicitor left then they sent me an additional bill for something they didn’t even do now they are threatening court and legal action against me to pay fees. I don’t even owe they can’t provide proof and continues to bully me. Avoid

I sincerely wish I had read the reviews on this website and never contacted this company.
No return calls and numerous unreplied to e mails.
Attended to by a "trainee solicitor" after they told me he was a "junior solicitor"
Hidden costs.
5 months to complete sale.
Discrepancies in contract conditions.
I personally would never recommend this company to anybody.

Avoid This Firm! Mishandling of Estate Caused Distress and Loss

I had the absolute worst experience with this firm when they were handling a family member's estate. Here's what happened:

Privacy Violations: They shared confidential details with someone who had no right to that information.
Sloppy Work: They didn't bother to check my status as a beneficiary, even though I had proof, and just listened to another person's baseless claims. They even got my name wrong on the initial paperwork, and after I pointed it out, they never even called back to confirm the correction.
Lost Assets: Because they prematurely closed the account, important documents and potentially even assets are now missing.
Ignoring Complaints: To make matters worse, they've completely ignored my official complaint about their mishandling of the situation.
Unhelpful Advice: When I pushed them to actually do their job, I was told to go to the Citizens Advice Center instead!
This whole mess cost us time, money, and a lot of emotional stress. If you're looking for a firm to handle an estate, I strongly urge you to steer clear of this one. I have evidence available to support my claims

Would not recommend at all, do not trust this firm!!!!
