Perfect Stays Reviews 

So - we have left Lantic Barn and I now have a moment to set down the faults that have made our holiday home disappointing.

On arrival, the sitting room floor was filthy. No one had hoovered under the sofas - the mounds of dust and hair spread across the rug - and our toddler granddaughter, trying to play, kept coming to ask for her hands to be cleaned. Horrible! My daughter in law and I spent an hour dusting and cleaning that room, removing sticky brown blobs and copious hair and dust. We were offered a repeat clean but that’s no use: the job should be done properly from the start.

The master bedroom floor had a generous dusting of glass from where a poorly hung picture had dropped off the wall before our arrival. Shoe free only works when the floor is safe.

The plug in the upstairs bathroom basin doesn’t work and the loo seat in the bathroom by the front door is loose. The property manager promised that these issues would be dealt with on Tuesday - no one came.

The upstairs bedrooms were not provided with bath sheets as advertised - bath towels only. We would have brought our own bath sheets and wished we had done so.

The property was, when we booked it, advertised as providing a travel cot, high chair and two stair gates. Neither stair gate was functional. That made it impossible to use an upstairs room for our toddler. Either advertise that the property is unsuitable for children or provide functional kit.

The fridge is far too small for a property advertised as sleeping ten. We had to use a cool box and freezer blocks to try to keep food safe. It didn’t help that one fridge shelf was cracked and unusable. That shelf was collected but no new shelf was provided.

Wi if does not function upstairs- the property needs a booster.

The non- functional tablet for check-in was the least of our issues, tho it was interesting to note that the PDF file sent by Perfect Stays refers to a storage box for garden cushions in the garden. There is no such box. The cushions have to take their chances!

The property does not have full sets of most glasses and no side plates or reasonably sized glasses for water.

We have taken holiday homes all over the UK and, indeed, all over the world. This property is a three star (out of five) at best. The pool could have been a redeeming feature but the crunchy layer of dead insects on the bottom was a bit off putting.

One positive, the property manager did swap a very hot duvet for a 4.5 tog when requested.

All in all, we would not recommend this property and would hesitate to recommend Perfect Stays on the basis of our experience.

We stayed at Trewhella in Crantock for a week (7 adults, 3 children and 3 dogs) and we had an absolute blast. The location is fantastic; short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the 2 pubs. The village has a real buzz about it, everyone very friendly and both pubs had live music on throughout the week. The Jam Jar pizzas are also a must!

The property itself was perfect. We loved the hot tub and outside space. Beds were comfortable and ample bathrooms for a bigger group.

The staff at Perfect Stays were great throughout. Responses were always quick and nothing was too much.

Overall a great holiday enjoyed by all, we will definitely be returning.

Lovely house and garden in a great area so close to the sea. We went to the beach daily and sometimes sat in the cafe, once had breakfast there, all excellent. Beds super comfortable, kitchen amazing to cook in especially as my grown up sons and their wives came on this trip and we all cooked together and sat at the huge table and chatted for hours. My only two bug bears were the garden wasn't secure enough for my mini dachshund, one of the reasons I had picked this property was because it mentions enclosed garden but on arrival the info about it said it wasn't actually secure and best to keep dogs on lead just in case, which was a big disappointment but obviously didn't ruin the holiday. And secondly we found the sofa and chair plus the long bench in the kitchen not at all comfortable (bench not big enough for grown up bottoms really and sofa and chair were low at the back so no support for necks) which was a disappointment as my mum has mobility issues and couldn't climb up the stairs into the TV room where the huge corner comfy sofa was.

Porth Enys house was fabulous in a breathtaking location. We loved watching the boats pass by and we were entertained by the visiting birds. The garden was stunning and the house was everything we wanted internally. We loved the cinema the conservatory and the bedrooms were luxurious and comfortable. Our son enjoyed staying in the look out. We loved the local walks but struggled with the rock scrambling on our walk to Lamorna on the coastal path. A visit to St Michael’s Mount was excellent and we enjoyed walking to Paul and having an excellent lunch in the pub.

Perfect Stays have the most wonderful properties in their portfolio and Brynia was topnotch. The staff at Perfect Stays were so responsive and immediately acted on any and all queries, nothing was too much trouble. The local property management company were also excellent.
The owners have decorated and appointed the house beautifully, lovely attention to detail, fabulously stocked kitchen with all cookware and tableware, big and small, that a cooking enthusiast could wish for. Living areas were great with loads of place "to be", inside and out, for everyone together or quiet times individually. The view was just exceptional! Photos don't do it justice.

Our stay at Shorebreak was perfect! The house is wonderful, pristine condition, very well equipped and the welcome hamper and section of local cheeses was incredible. The location of the property was ideal. Walking distance to the beach, village shop and Trevose golf club with its wonderful restaurant. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Had a trouble free and very enjoyable family holiday at The Cove. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The garden was huge which was great for the dogs to run around and chase a few rabbits that visited. The hot tub was a lovely feature considering the weather wasn't always great.
Perfect Stays made everything straightforward and a smooth experience.

The house was more than we ever expected and views breathtaking.
So convenient to walk to the nearby beaches and the grandchildren loved the train from St Ives to Carbis Bay.
We had the most delicious meal cooked by one of your recommend chefs and service was excellent .

We stayed at Driftwood in Rock, Cornwall for a family holiday. We arrived with dog, baby and grandparents and every need was catered for from high chair, stair gates and homeware to doggy and human welcome packages of treats. We really were blown away by how beautiful the property is and how immaculately kept it is. It is located in a nice quiet cul de sac only 20 minutes walk to Rock beach. It is beautifully light and airy with lots of glass and has a lovely terrace on the back for bbq and sun lounging! Perfect stays were also very attentive helping us with suggestions for dining out, activities for our 2 year old and just checking in here and there to ensure we had everything we needed. All round we were extremely impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Driftwood again if we return to Rock. Have already been recommending to family and friends. Beautiful house, had everything we needed and more. Lovely open plan living area (with stairgate) well equipped kitchen and great utility area. Nice generous entrance porch with shower for sandy people. Outdoor hose tap really handy too!
Beds super comfortable, rooms quiet and with blackout curtains.
Everything was beautifully clean.
Garden, accessed from side door upstairs or bedrooms, a lovely little sun trap. It has seating and a handy gate for access to the beach. Oh & a hot tub too!
We loved our stay and hope to return next year, thank you so much

We have just had the most perfect week in Hope Cove in Devon in a spectacular property called Tamarisks. Perfect Stays were in fact 'perfect' from beginning to end. Lovely staff and very efficient in every way. We can't wait to go back or to use Perfect Stays to book another outstanding holiday - thank you PS!

A truly spacious property with all the mod cons you’d expect. Perfectly located for the Beach and dining. A very comfortable stay was had by all the family.

Fantastic experience from booking through to check out. Perfect Stays was very efficient and helpful throughout the booking process and before check in. Check in was easy and straightforward. We had a wonderful break in Shun Lee. Beautiful house, great amenities and a fabulous view, all within a short walk from St Ives and the nearest Tesco for a serious shop! Have already booked again for next year!

This is not the first time we have used Perfect Stays and they always give an excellent service and are perfectionists in providing the most wonderful holidays. This house was well prepared, spacious and the views were even more breathtaking than we had expected. Well done again.

Perfect Stays thank you for a lovely holiday , the MouseHouse was amazing with great views. The house was well equipped and lots of space for all the family and our dogs. We enjoyed the local facilities, beaches and great food. The Ship Inn and the Old Coastguard were great and the locals could not have been nicer. The support and advice from Perfectstays was first class making this a memorable holiday . We will certainly visit again when we can arrange.

We stayed at Poldhu in Harlyn Bay. Lovely property with everything you need and so close to the beautiful beach.
Hot tub was a success and with 3 dogs and a baby the utility room was so useful.
All communications with Perfect Stays was brilliant and all my questions were answered quickly.

We were a group of old friends who enjoyed a fabulous stay at The Old School House for a long weekend to attend wonderful Porthleven Food Festival. The house is in a great location, with stunning views and offers all the amenities that you would need. The Old School House is stylish, clean and in excellent condition. In fact, we were so comfortable there that it was difficult to leave.

Perfect Stays made the entire process very easy and I was happy about the excellent communication with Perfect Stays. I would very much recommend The Old School House as wonderful holiday cottage when in Porthleven, as well as, dealing with Perfect Stays. And the Porthleven Food Festival was just amazing too - so an incredible stay in every way.

Perfect Stays - excellent service and lovely holiday homes. Headlands was really cosy (despite April storms) and in a great position. Beautiful views and very well appointed. Perfect family holiday.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful week at The Paddock, Trebarwith Strand, Cornwall.

A wonderful property which is so comfortable and appointed to the highest quality and standards, we were so impressed.
Spacious and comfortable and with the most stunning views of the coast.
We had some elderly relatives with us with limited mobility and the en-suite downstairs was absolutely perfect for them, as they were able to join the rest of the family easily.
We would most definitely return.

Once again Perfect Stays provided us with first class service and information and communication , we have stayed in lots of the properties they manage and we cannot fault them.
