They lied on my CV and may have cost me a job.
I don't usually leave bad reviews but I want to know if anyone has had the same experience.
They called me this morning saying they had seen my CV online and wanted to offer me an interview that day. This bit is fine and worked out perfectly. HOWEVER, they falsely edited my CV and when they called to confirm something, I explained that it was falsely edited and that I was not comfortable with this much lying. The chap on the phone assured me that my original CV, a much more professional looking one at that, had been sent to their client - my potential employers - and that it was only a suggestion. Oh how wrong and naïve I was to believe them. I've done my best to correct the wrongs I could, in the interview. I'll update ASAP on whether or not I get the job but if I don't get it because of this scummy tactic I will be furious.
