Sadly, having now ordered from Perry on several occasions, with bad experience - nothing has improved. Customer service remains poor, I've had inaccuracies on orders, sizing discrepancies, and all of this comes at a premium on prices.
I don't want this review to be too scathing, but it's just an honest reflection of the service that Perry provide, which is poor.
The more I buy the zero discount I get . On top of that the quality of products is awful.
Awful experience. Isize is just an excuse to offload items (massively too big or too small). Website is a joke for a store that only has an only presence.
Terrible service and super bad quality of uniforms
The uniform is very expensive for what it is, particularly as the quality of some of the items is not great. I also find that the sizes are all over the place. The service could be considerably better, I would say that communication is certainly an area the company could work on!
I ordered uniform early last July, expecting it to arrive in good time so that I could get everything named ready for September. Perry had decided they were not going to send the uniform for my children's school until at least mid-August but neglected to mention this fact to parents. I tried calling their Customer Services several times to chase up the order but couldn't get through on their phoneline. Other parents I spoke to complained of getting through to an answering machine which told them to email Customer Services, they then said that they didn't get a reply to their emails. I had to complain to the school about it in the end, and it was the school who managed to find out what was going on! My delivery arrived 7-8 weeks after I ordered it. There has been other issues to.
We had a uniform fitting a few weeks ago at my children's school. I briefly referenced one of the issues (with the service) to the lady measuring one of my children, she pretended that she could not hear me and ignored the fact that I had mentioned an issue, carrying on with what she was doing and treating me as though I should not have said anything. I really was not impressed! At least my eldest child's secondary school does not use this company, as I cannot wait to be rid of them!
I find dealing with Perrys to be a challenge and if I had any choice to buy uniform elsewhere I would. It can often take weeks (or more than once months!) for items to come into stock. The shirts and trousers come out of the washing machine looking like rags, they cannot be tumble dried and they need ironing (unlike far cheaper options from supermarket or m&s). Their sizing is bizarre and I need to get 2+ waist sizes up for trousers to fit (the waist to crotch on the 38 waist pair I just ordered is shorter than the waist to crotch on the 34 waist m&s pair I compared then to and I also have to go 2+ sizes up on blazer to get arms that are long enough). The last pair of trousers I ordered said 35” long but were only 31.5” long and too short for my son. The blazer bobbled on the shoulders within a month of purchase. The only thing I do like is their sports kit which is good quality, but expensive for something my sons inevitably lose and needs to be replaced, The free returns work well and they have recently improved turnaround times on refunds.
Perry's are always very helpful and friendly if u have a query. Things arrived well packed and on time
Ordered a uniform for my daughter, good quality, arrived quickly and good value for money.
Simple items are never in stock. The customer service team are 5 star.
Really slow getting the items out. My daughter won’t be able to wear the uniform for long before the end of the school year.
How did it take soooo long to deliver a swimming hat?! Surely they should always be in stock.
