They are not legit company because after you deposit funds from your bank onto the pesa wallet you will not be able to transfer the funds to your recipient. Their contact cannot be reached
After depositing funds on to the pesa wallet I am unable to transfer the money to the recipient since November 13, 2025 to date. I sent an emailed severally and when they choose to respond they send out same email all the time that wait for the money to clear meanwhile the money has been cleared and marked as complete. They don't answer the phone number on file. No one should ever do business with pesa because they will frustrate you. They are sitting on my $400 and I can't even send it back to my bank.

Please for your own peace of mind avoid this app by all means necessary your bank will send the money but they will tell you the money was not sent , I even have to send them the swift code they said it is not there and based in Dubai and in case you are doubting me they use Zand bank to receive such monies

Money Missing, No Support
I sent ~$2k CAD to USD through PesaPeer over A WEEK AGO. The app shows “money sent,” but my recipient never received it. What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of support:
No response from any support agent despite multiple attempts to reach out.
No clear timeline or explanation of where my money is.
Zero transparency about the status of the transaction.
For a company claiming to be regulated in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., this is unacceptable. I’m now escalating to regulators.
Be cautious — your money may go missing with no accountability.

I think Pesa is trying to do something…
I think Pesa is trying to do something good. My money got stack with them for about 30 hours. But in the end, the money went to where I needed it to go. After that experience, it's been very very smooth honestly. It takes about 1 minute for my transfer to be complete. So I think people should decide for themselves of they want to use it. I continue to use it though. I also wish that Pesa will provide some clarity on why such prolonged delays happen.
