Product details
Formula 'P' Carpet Moth Killer Powder contains the powerful insecticide permethrin (0.5% w/w), and is formulated for the control of carpet moths and carpet beetles, having a rapid knockdown effect on all life cycle stages.
This 300g puffer pack is easy to use and ideal for direct application to carpets, specifically the wall-floor junctions where moths tend to lay their eggs, patches of moth damage and beneath long-standing furniture. Formula 'P' should be applied in a thin layer over the whole carpet, and more generously in the areas listed above, leaving it down for 30 minutes to an hour to take effect before vacuuming up. The powder can be left down longer in out-of-the-way areas which cannot be accessed by pets and/or children and where it is unlikely to be disturbed and become airborne.
After removing the powder, we would recommend treating the carpet with Pest Expert Formula 'C+' Moth Killer Spray, which leaves a protective residue to maintain control for several weeks. In addition, a Formula 'P+' Fogger can be used to fumigate the room to kill all adult carpet moths and beetles.
NB: This pack contains 300g powder - twice the quantity of Rentokil Insectrol!
Please also see our Carpet Moth Treatment Kits, which now contain the Formula 'P' Powder rather than the Rentokil Insectrol as well as the Formula 'C+' Moth Killer Spray and Foggers mentioned above and moth pheromone traps for monitoring activity. The Kits provide excellent value for money and are supplied with a step-by-step advice sheet on how to use each of the components to carry out a comprehensive treatment for killing carpet moths.

Easy to use puffer pack, I think I was more generous than stated but I wanted to be sure that all the carpet moths were gone.
Not used it yet but expecting it to work well.
Good quality product. Very useful and easily to be used
Seems to do the job. Have used before and worked well but a few must have survived as got a few back ( but not many thankfully). That said I would recommend this product.
Works well so far.
Easy to apply and put in area infected. Seems to have done the job so far
Easy enough to use, although I do enlarge the hole to allow the 'puffing' of the powder rather than shaking. Not sure how well it works. I still have carpet moths even though I have treated my main carpets several times.
Have used this before and it did kill larvae. Not sure that it is completely effective for all stages but will keep trying.
