Great little nut cracker. I use it for hazelnuts as the larger crackers often can't crack the smaller nuts or make a mess. I can crack the nuts and the mess sits inside the crack to tap and empty.

The actual nut cracker is fine. I sourced it on the internet and wanted if for a gift. It was $9.00 more expensive then two others I purchased and took over two weeks to arrive.

Purchased to open a large quantity of dried macadamias that were still in their shells. The device bent substantially after successfully opening 3 macadamias, which is surprising for a product advertised as "crack-a-mac". I was unaware the name was literal, the product seems to be designed to open a single macadamia; this is not cost effective.

I have a macadamia tree in my backyard and buckets of macadamias. This nut cracker isn’t the best, trying to get it in the correct position to crack the nut is impossible.

The nut get smashed by the screw, and the shelling process is cumbersome. This product can't compete with the one that comes with a wooden box and a long lever. On the other hand, it costs a fraction.
