I bought this gadget because it was a Microplane product and I have always found them to be superior. However, the spiral cutter wasn't as easy to use as it looks and you have to use the right size of vegetable to get a good result.

A bit of a disappointment. It's not overly easy to use - hard to turn the vegetable. It certainly doesn't come out as smoothly as the picture displays and, the centre of the carrot comes out of the bottom of the grater (as a whole) so the whole carrot, or vegetable, doesn't get done. I have found other gadgets like the above also not easy to use and the vegies don't come out like the pictures. Having said that I absolutely love all my Microplane graters.

Leaves an awkward core When spiralising-and you also get left with 5cm of product you can’t put through the spiraliser.

Product is very difficult & does not look like the picture (easy). The worst bit is you can not even finish the whole vegetable you will cut your fingers. I would not recommend. Waste of money.
