Initially I was disappointed, as within a few days the volume wheel just stopped responding. £2300 for a Naim that had issues within this short period of time was annoying but the device also appeared to be linked to a previous Tidal account and consequently I couldn’t work the Tidal Connect feature. The staff as PT were excellent and arranged to have a replacement sent. This was received and disappointment turned to frustration not least because the unit had turned up a day early when I was out the country and my son had damaged a brand new turntable when removing said Naim as well as leaving brand new Chord Clearway cables attached to it when handing it to DPD. The replacement Naim wouldn’t even allow me past the start up screen. ( not a great Father’s Day in our household) Again PT staff were aplomb and a 3rd Naim Uniti Atom was sent. As well as my cables although slightly damaged. On this occasion the set up was flawless and the Atom sounds excellent driving my Klipsch Heresy IV’s. It’s a bitter sweet review as if the Atom had worked as it ought to I’d still have a pristine turntable, would have enjoyed the music within minutes rather than days and probably would have given a 5 stars 🌟 review.
