I bought this to keep the weight in the system having switched out the heavier aluminium platter for the acrylic one on my Project Evo2. Looks great under the acrylic platter and is of great quality. Very pleased with the result.

The Debut Alu Sub Platter takes all Debut turntables to the next level. The diamond cut aluminium sub-platter can be machined to much improved and higher tolerances and will be a substantial upgrade to regular sub-platters. It adds more mass to the entire platter and drive system, resulting in additional damping of noise and unwanted resonances. The improved tolerances during production will increase overall speed accuracy. The additional mass improves short term speed stability, or also called Wow & Flutter.

Project Aluminium sub platter is the best upgrade, I have done to the deck. It puts it into another level. Very good for the price. I have a Linn LP12 and that is something else, but the Project really is an enjoyable listen now.
Ordered had to return as it does not fit project T1 phono sb sent e mail to project hoping that aluminium sub platter will be made for T1 in future still it was a quality piece of kit
As I bought this at the same time as my Debut deck, it would be hard to say if this has enhanced it obviously- but given the substance of a solid piece of aluminium over some moulded plastic, for the discounted price, it has to add to the overall performance.
