If I could give a 0 I would. I went to the groomers at 10136 two notch Rd. in Columbia, South Carolina. My cat came back, smelling worse than when I brought him in. They told me they use only authorized shampoo, defending that they didn’t do anything wrong. I don’t care what shampoo they used. I just know he came back real smelly so now I have to go buy something else to make them not smelly. And no one offered me anything in return. I was gonna start bringing my dogs there but absolutely not.
Arrogant owner
I went into the store and talked to the owner about the quality of the dogfood . He was arrogant and treated me like I was a criminal. I told him my opinion of how overpriced the dogfood was with all the preservatives. He dismissed my comment and I left the store.

I scheduled my labradane for a complete grooming. Nails, earth bath, paw shaving, ears, teeth the works. I was told the grooming would take 2.5-3 hours. I got the call to pick him up in under 2 hours. I asked how he did and the groomer said "he did good". I paid $80 for all the services and drove home. Upon arriving home, I looked my dog over and found that his paws were not trimmed, nails were not grinder or smooth. They were extremely short, jagged and splitting from a very short clip with no grinding. Not sure if teeth were brushed. Ears were dirty and oily, obviously not cleaned. I called back to store. The groomer in question had already left(It was a Friday). The girl on the phone said we don't usually shave labradore paws, it causes their hair to grow like crazy. What? Of course the hair is going to grow back. My veterinarian had never heard such a thing of any breed. I had obvious paid for full grooming services and they picked and chose the easiest tasks just to get by and go home. Very dissatisfied with the Findlay, Ohio store and the services my dog received. I would upload photos, but the option is not available. The girl I spoke with said I could bring him back over to have the paw shaving done, yet to drive 45 mins back to the store to have services done that knowingly should have been done the first time? I feel my dog was put in the hands of inexperienced groomers with questionable integrity, and I will not subject my pet to that again.
I like PetSmart
I like PetSmart. They have convenient locations and really neat stores. It’s so convenient to have a Grooming Salon and Veterinarian at the same location. I’ve use both in the past. My mom was a huge fan! Customer Service has always been very nice and professional when I visit.

My regular groomer Amanda was out sick so I got a girl named Kat instead. Should have not gone forward…. My Shih Tzu was there for over 4 hours and got the worst haircut you could imagine. She cut his tail and his mustache so awful!!!
Maggots in food and won’t return
PetSmart I bought dog food during the holidays when it was on sale and opened the bag to find it full of cobwebs and maggots. I called customer service and since I purchased it on 11/3 and opened the bag on 1/6 it was outside the 60 day return window and they can do nothing for me but offer me coupons. Absolutely disgusting, I will not purchase from you again!

When we went to go pick up our leopard gecko they were very gentle and handled the animal very well. The employees gave us a pamphlet and they answered any questions we had and made sure we had all the stuff we needed.

If I could give it a negative 20 I would but it's not allowed I went to the PetSmart on man avenue in Reno Nevada last night between 7:00 and 9:00 and I had never been in there before I was going to grab a couple dogs sweaters but I had stopped and talked to this lady for so long I don't know I changed my mind and I petted the dog I was talking to and I walked out and the manager chased me out of the store telling me my associates saw you steal from us and I'm trying to run I said no ma'am I didn't steal anything from you I don't steal and she said I'd like you to come in here and dump out your purse so I went back in and I let her go through my purse there was nothing in there from PetSmart nothing and I tell you I've never been so embarrassed in front of 10 or 15 people in my life all I did was go home and cry so if you ever want to go to PetSmart do not I would ban all of the stores I would not go to the one on man but that is how they treat people that maybe look like a thief in their eyes I don't know but the manager that was working yesterday should not be in customer service and that would be a date of January 3rd 2026 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

We t into the store on Silverado ranch in vegas and the manager was the one they called to help me. He told me they didn’t sell that product and I told him I come in every week and buy it. He pretty much called me crazy cause I told him I have receipts bc he was so adamant with you are crazy lady we don’t sell it. Thru have a pate and one with grace it’s Recommended by my cats bet cause he had a blockage. I left went to the store 5 miles away and they had it . The manager there printed me a copy of receipts for a full year to prove to the manager at the other store who called me crazy would know that they so carry it. That way I could find out if they would restock it. I went back and he looked at the receipt told me it was the pate one. He was wrong cause my cats don’t eat pate period. The recipes show the right one. I went home and called customer service and they had the info needed and shows it was the one at that very store the manager said they never carried. Thank God for customer support. I hope the corporate office gets this complaint cause this man over sees employees and needs to be retrained cause he was flat out wrong and didn’t know how to handle it, maybe having a very lazy day or a bad one but to not even say I was wrong or I’m sorry it’s unbelievable, a manager should always show the good side of a company and this one failed. I didn’t scared or throw a tantrum or even raise my voice. I just wanted the product not have to travel 12 miles away to the next store or st the most let me know if your going to get the product I was looking for in soon. That’s it. Poor Grooming Sevice in Gurnee
The groomer took four hours to cut my small standard poodle thats 7-10 pounds and the cut was poorly done. My poodles claws were not clip at all. I called the complaint line and was put on hold forever. I went to make my dog another appointment at another Petsmart location in Wisconsin and was advised in the app to call the store. No we will not be calling, no we will not be back to Petsmart, and no I do not need to explain my feelings about Petsmart poor grooming service.

Zero stars if it were allowed. I had a 75 gallon tank that was bought brand new. I was gonna start a saltwater reef. After going to a local pet store to get 70 gallons of R/O saltwater to fill the tank with. And also bought live sand and live rock. After filling the tank with yhe70 gallons, I noticed a leak coming from the corner of the tank. So, I syphoned all the water back out into 5 gallon buckets and totes in my living room, took all the rock and sand out and brought the tank back into the Owensboro, Ky store. Upon entering there was a girl at the register that just stared at me and finally I had to inform them I had a return. She proceeded to mumble something to me and I asked her what she said. And she asked me to come to a different register. So I did. By that time, the manager, Brenda, was up there. I told her my dilemma and how upset I was and all the stuff I had to undo because of a faulty tank that was 9 days old. That’s when I saw a tag on the underside of the tank that said sell by 11-25. I had bought the tank in 12-25. So a month later. Which probably doesn’t mean much since it never had been used. But, she asked what I wanted to do and I said I really need a tank since I have a living room full of water and rock and a stand I spent 300$ on to fit that tank. So, they had one on the shelf. So we lifted it up and put it on the cart. I looked at the corners and there it was again. Another crack!! So I said I don’t want this one and she proceeded to tell me that I could fix that with silicone. I said I want a new tank, not a project. That’s when she got an attitude with me. Why would I buy a new tank that needs immediate repair just to hold water?? So I asked her if she had any in the back and she said no. So, I saw another one that was being sold as a set. With the base, lid etc. I said I want that one. She said you can’t have that one it’s in a set. I said you need to make this right because your product was defective she told me “ we didn’t make your tank leak” I said I know this but it was your product that did! So she reluctantly said I could have that one. When we lowered it off the shelf as I was in line to do the return I was looking at the corners and low and behold!! Another crack in the same spot. So I said just give me my money back and I’ll go find one elsewhere. So they refunded my money. But the kicker is, they put those broken tanks back on the showroom floor to sell!!! WTF so, I will never spend another dime at their store. What a joke. Very disappointed in this location. Buyer beware.

I wouldn’t advise anybody to go here to buy anything or work there. If they hate handicap people they’ll let them work for two years, then come out and tell them with no warning that they don’t have a job anymore because they can’t do anything after they’ve seen them, do this job the same way for two years with no complaints and no problems I wouldn’t go there to buy anything. I’ve seen them HRB cruel to customers. I’ve seen him call them idiots. I’ve seen him kick things. I’ve seen him get mad at other employees and cut them out. Is this a place where you wanna work or just a place where you want your pet to go to I wouldn’t trust them with a bag of shit.

Think twice about boarding with Petsmart
I boarded my dog from 12/24 - 12/28 at the El Cajon location in a private suite. Not only did we get her back severely dehydrated, she had blood in her stool and she’s sick. Firstly, I called to have her removed from social play. I could tell she wasn’t comfortable and highly stressed. I was told she’d be moved to one on one. That did not happen. When I picked her up I was notified she was “stressed” and it wasn’t until my facial expressions showed that I was upset I began to receive feedback. The nonchalant attitude of the person who checked me out was very unprofessional. She read her symptoms off of a checklist then said “Did you want to pay cash or card?” The person BEHIND her gave a minuscule explanation then I was sent on my way. I will NEVERRRRRRR board my pet here again. And if anyone asks if I recommend them the answer will be absolutely not.

Would love to give a no star review but not possible. I placed an order online as I am relocated from my home to Toronto awaiting a transplant. Any PetSmart was too far for me to walk so I placed an order online for two items. I got a notice that my order was on its way. I a, new to this delivering to an apartment so I stayed home until it was delivered. Not once did any email notify me that it would only half of my order. So when I got my order ai opened it and only received one item. So I have to waste my time contacting customer service to find out about my other item. After a long wait and talking to a customer service rep that sounded like ai just woke her up and it took forever for her, even though I gave her my name and order number to finally tell me that the other part will be delivered at another time. She also said that was disconcerting that it is taking that long. But my biggest issue is why was I not told that it would onlybe part of my order that was being delivered? I will NEVER order from petsmart online again or at this point go to the store. I am anti Amazon but after this experience even Amazon is looking better.
A month long hassle with an online…
A month long hassle with an online order for our pet. They kept cancelling my order after a few days. They kept requesting a prescription to be mailed by postal service. Hello it takes more than a couple of days for the vet to write the prescription, pick it up same day, mailed it by us postal mail and get processed by petsmart staff. If they insist on this process they need to build more time in before cancelling the order. Finally a manager called me to tell me their staff was confused. The order was not canceled it was still in the system despite the notice from my card company. She also said the order would not be canceled if I could send a new prescription to them, which I did. Today the replied that the order was cancelled and there is nothing they can do. Even after the manager assured me it would not be canceled due to confusion by their staff.
Never Again
This review is concerning the grooming department at the PetSmart in Oakley (Cincinnati OH). Against my better judgement, we thought we would endure the poor service because the results were usually good. We dropped our Goldendoodle off yesterday for a bath and cut. Never again. The cut our dog received was very uneven and much shorter that the groomer indicated on the board. They cut off all of her eyelashes and cut her so short between her eyes that she was bleeding. (See photo.) They said that the last time she was hyper on the table, which we've never heard before at any place we've taken her to. I think now we know why she was acting like that.
Outstanding Service in Kamloops
Can't say enough good about the staff and store at the Petsmart in Kamloops. I don't get over there very often but i thoroughly enjoy shopping there. Always so helpful and friendly. Plus i was over in the summer and signed up for a bunch of offrrs. Some were not reflected on my bill as i had items that were on sale as well as duscounted...so confusing for sure. I called and yhey graciously said i would have a credit next time i was over. FOUR months later i was back...a long time, figured i would be lucky if they remembrred me. Not only did yhey remember me, she brought out a printout of my transaction with a $46 credit!!! Excellent service. Plus amazing deals and incentives! Thank you!

I took my dog for nail grinder and cut walking in and the groomer at PetSmart on bloomingdale ave. missed the two hidden nails on both feet. She cut all the other nails because I shave the feet so it can be easier to see the nails and do a better job. I can’t believe the groomers at PetSmart don’t know the dogs have 5 nails on the front feet.
