My dog went for a grooming appointment…and was mutilated by his groomer

My dog went for a grooming appointment on July 17, 2025. He was returned mutilated, cut ou with visible shaving marks and cuts ALL OVER HIS BODY. I COULD NOT GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER ABOUT WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED to my dog during groomer. After his wounds got worst , he had to be taken to vet for treatment, and antibiotics. This was definitely abuse to my dog. He will. NEVER RETURN THEIR FOR ANY SERVICES.

I feel pet smart is price gouging!!

I feel pet smart is price gouging!!! They advertise $85 for a small pet (18 lb cockapoo). Witch I feel is HIGH. When I pick her up it's almost $120 with tax. Haven't seen a groomer who is much above high school age. I also feel Pet Smart is setting the the price for all local groomers which I think is PET DUMB !!! The only time they will see again is when I go to Five Guys next door!!!!!

Heartbroken and Disappointed

After 2 years at PetSmart Doggie Day Camp with zero issues, my dog was banned after an injury caused by unsafe dog grouping with an older, deaf dog—loyalty means nothing when safety and accountability are ignored.

The worst place to take you yorkie

The worst place to take you yorkie. They were extremely rude for the last time after three times. My yorkie was not severely matted they just refused to work with her and if anyone knows yorkies can be a little hyper. I will be boycotting Petsmart say this location in Gainesville until they fire all of their groomers and get groomers that will work with the customer. As far as I’m concern they have gone too far with humane. If you get my drift oh a believe me this will get posted on all review sites too.

We adopted a kitten (cocoa) and was…

We adopted a kitten (cocoa) and was told it was from a good family and had her just 5 days before she started using the bathroom on everything!!! Including myself. Called the staff who was very unfriendly from the start and was told she was feral and what did we expect but that we could still return her with no problems. The problem was we had to deal with the staffs ignorant comments and were not able to get our money refunded . I now wondered why they wanted a feral cat back other than to resell it again.

Groomer left my dog and he was choking and hanging from the table.

I took my Yorkipoo to the grooming center there. I left and my husband at the time was watching the lady groom Cody. When I walked up after I went shopping in the store, my husband was bagging on the window because our dog was choking because the harness around his mouth and face was choking him. He had slipped off the table and was hanging by his neck The young lady (groomer) had went in the back room. The door was locked. All we could do was bang on the glass window She finally came from the back and quickly grabbed our Cody from hanging. I didn't let her finish cutting his hair. I asked to speak to a manager. We did not pay for that grooming. I never took any of my dogs to be groomed there again. I shop there and that's it! Bad grooming experience.

During checkout it keeps changing my…

During checkout it keeps changing my address. I input everything correctly and trying to process, it auto changes my complete address removing important details like my buzzcode number and floor. What a dumb system they have. 5th time I have had issues with trying to make an order online. Im done with them. Hope they go out of business.

They are the worst company ever there…

They are the worst company ever there website wasn’t working kept telling me to refresh so I did not knowing every time I did that my card would get charged I ended up with 12 charges on my card all they can tell me is it will drop off in a week no sorry no comping me for nothing petsmart sucks and I will never shop with them again!

PetSmart AutoShipped to me without ANY notice

PetSmart AutoShipped to me without ANY notice OR alert of price changes that other companies happily send a few days before processing. Then won't cancel order when your CreditCard alerts you of charges..even when order status says "pickup in progress" (so not yet shipped). Telephone agent says its up to store whether they will accept return. ALL feels very shady for a company I once respected. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Georgetown Ont.Canada.
Ripoff price top of bad the customer service.
Our dog was stressed too much when she gets there.Wonder why?
Asked them full summer haircut,head to toe.Left lots hair on her tail.Few days later I called to fix her tail and they required us another 35 on top of 99 dollars we have already paid.
Actually we were not really happy with their hair cut even before.
Use your local a pet grooming shop.
Do not use petsmart.
Not even a star deserves

Will never go back to Petsmart in…

Will never go back to Petsmart in Augusta Ga. Over charged me for a service that comes with package for just bath and brush. Was rude and not very polite. When asked did they do her glands she replied with a nasty attitude and comment saying they were really nasty,what do expect with cleaning glands answer was not acceptable.Will find a better and respectful grooming place.Never again 👎🏾

Plainfield Indiana Grooming Salon

The manager at the Plainfield Indiana location blocked us because of the horrible attitude regarding drying our pet. I didn't complain about it. I tried to explain that I did not care that it wasn't 100%. When I called the next time and said I had a favorite groomer I preferred that they always did a great with our pet she hung up and must have blocked my number as I can't get through anymore. Wow. 20 years and 3 dogs with PetSmart Plainfield Indiana and now I have to find another place. Thanks.

Triple booking appointments

I took my dog for an 8am. 1st appointment for bath and brush at the petsmart at Taunton and harmony in oshawa. I was told he would be ready in an hour and a half. I went to get him agree 2 and a half hours and he still wasn't ready. They finished him after 3 hours. I was told they booked 2 other dogs at the same time so it's safe to assume that they caged my dog for an hour and a half before they started working on him. This is insane to have to wait 3 hours for a bath and brush.

Overcharged

Went online and ordered a full haircut and wash with nail trim and teeth cleaning. 1st the customer service said I needed to pay 5 more for nail trim which was included. I told her I'll deal with it when I come back. I came back and now they charged me with a 6 dollar holiday fee. What! The holiday is next week. And why are customers paying for holiday pay. Ask for my 6 dollars back. And now i am getting the run around. Sad service

Nasty place!

While I waited over 30 minutes to have my 2 miniature doodles get their nails trimmed and paws touched up during "yappy hour", I listened as 2 of the 4 groomers scolded the small dogs they were grooming (sad). I thought about walking out, but I decided I would stay. I had already bathed them and shaved them completely down the day before because of matting. They are normally wiggle-worms when getting their nails trimmed, which is why I was there. First up was my 10 lb miniature poodle. She would not stand still, so the groomer had someone help her. The groomer then brought my miniature poodle back to me and said she would not continue with the rest of the service because she found 2 fleas on my poodle. My mostly bald miniature poodle is all white, and I'm sure I would have noticed fleas on her or she would have been itchy. I gave them my second dog, even more bald and wiggly during grooming. The groomer didn't even attempt it. This time she showed me a flee that she said came off of my dog. That's impossible, as he has no fur and has not been itching. I think it was the mangy dog that was standing next to my dogs before in the lobby quite possibly left a trail of fleas behind it. Additionally, it was quite unsanitary in that place, with fur from many dogs all over the floor. Gross! Needless to say, I will not be taking my dogs back to that dump!

Petsmart Customer Service and Autoship…

Petsmart Customer Service and Autoship is a waste of time and money,
My autoship was sent by doordash but rather than deliver they returned my order to the store; so Ptsmrt CS routed my order to FEDEX but never provided my order to FEDEX for delivery.
CS offered a $$gift for my inconvenience but cancelled my order and did not tell me they were cancelling my order, My animals suffered waiting for the order,
Don't WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. DON'T USE Petsmart; lies, lies, lies

I purchased an online order for science…

I purchased an online order for science Hill diet food for $97.99. I did same day delivery and received propane dog food which is a value $40 the receipt taped to the box states my name and it also states science Hill I called the store the lady was very friendly. She said that she was a team leader And asked if I can just come to the store and she can switch out the product. However I was not home and the distance between where I was to where the stores location was the store would've been closed leaving my dog without food. I then called customer service to see if the food can be shipped out first thing in the morning the worker originally told me yes, and he would contact the store to see if they had the item still what he didn't know was that I was actually on three-way and Heard Him and the workers entire conversation. He then came back on the line and told me something completely different. I asked for a Supervisor in which a supervisor named Liam came on the phone His condescending tone was very rude and because of this, I will never shop at PetSmart again. He got on the line and basically told me what he was going to do. They wanted to issue me a refund however I explained to them that I would have to wait five days for that refund to be processed back to my account and I would be out of $100 for a couple of days due to negligence on the store behalf if they can just re-ship the food out and I will bring back this food. He was extremely rude. I am referring to Liam. I asked him his title he said team leader I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor. He chuckled and said I'm basically a supervisor long story short he ended up hanging up the phone. I then called Back and spoke to another worker and which I asked him to speak to a supervisor as well. I also explained that I did not want to speak to a supervisor named Liam. He told me that he was transferring me to his supervisor Joseph I said OK great then the phone was transferred and Liam got on the phone and started to laugh and said this is Liam David. Do you want a refund now or what? I really hope that your calls are recorded because this is not how customer service should operate especially for a large corporation. I will never shop here again!!!!
